was looking at the new iPads on the apple website and of course see the "find your trade in value" link. My 2nd Gen 11" iPad Pro is worth $330...

tried my early 2015 MBP for shits and giggles....$70..lol

 

curious what the price points for the original iPad pros will be now, if they are discounted a bit maybe I will upgrade

 

Usually they get discounted in store by $100

 

still rockin my 2019 12.9” pro and its still one of the best devices ive ever owned.

 

I love my iPad but I would very much like that new keyboard folio.

I pulled the trigger and got the Silver one. I havent had an Ipad in years. Going to use it and get familiar with it before I invest in the Keyboard folio.

Was considering upgrading my 3rd gen 12.9 Pro, but the update was a little underwhelming. I kind of figured it wouldn't be significant given the lack of formal presentation.

 

I also caved and bought the Watch Ultra, I thought it might be too big but I actually like the increased size and the both the alpine and ocean bands are super comfortable. It's great for open water swimming with much more accurate distance tracking, water temp, compass and a big display I can actually read without my glasses. Also the biometrics seem a lot more accurate, maybe because of the larger case. I'm recovering from a some serious health issues and being able to have a reliable pulse oximeter strapped to my wrist 24 hours a day is huge for me, potentially lifesaving.

 

Looks like the iPhone 14 Plus isn’t doing so hot in sales as Apple has already had to stop production due to a lack of interest from consumers. I’m not surprised as here in the U.K. it’s an eye watering £949… with that kind of money down you can literally drop another £150 to get a Pro.

 

Just a terrible decision to sell a new phone with a year old processor.

 

Fundamentally such small changes from the normal 13 to the 14 as well doesn't help. Could have least offered 120hz at that price.

 

I shut my jacket pocket / iPhone XS in my front door the other day and it has not been happy with me. Random horizontal lines at irregular intervals and occasionally dropping both WiFi and LTE. Starting to think the 14 Pro may be looking real nice right now since the cost of repairs alone would probably get me halfway there.

 

My 14 Pro and wife's Pro Max will be attempted to be delivered today via UPS. We will 100% be at work when they show up. We can't request them to hold them at the facility until they attempt delivery at least once. Frustrating.

 

I think the worst apple delivery timing I had was when my HomePod arrived to the house right when my wife pulled into the driveway... and she had no idea I bought it (right when it came out). She hated it (me) when I did that, but she's come around to the quality since then, listening to music through it daily since then. I really want to buy a second one for stereo purposes.

 

Every iPhone I’ve ever had delivered was during work hours and I hate it

 

WFH life has allowed me to avoid any delivery fiascos over the last few years thankfully.

 

I ordered something once from the store and did the same day delivery, and I wasn't home, but my wife was. She watched someone from her office window pull into the neighbor's driveway, knock on the door and when no one answered got in the car and drove off. She told me this so I called the person to say they went to the wrong house but they had already cancelled the order due to nobody at home and I had to reorder it, and I lost the $9 delivery fee

 

Anticipating my Watch Ultra being delivered from Verizon today. I was told it wouldn't ship until December, so, this was a nice surprise. Glad I jumped on the deals they were running - the watch and 3 years of service will run me about $560 as opposed to $799 for just the watch.

 

now we know why Stage Manager is coming to MacOS also.

 

Oh, another delivery thing... I forgot about when I bought my iMac in 2018 and had it delivered while my wife was in the hospital for almost the entire month. It took her about a week before she realized I replaced my 21.5" with the new 27" one. Now our 2011 21.5" is pretty bad so I'm like... you can have my 27" and I'll get a new iMac

 

I ended up leaving work and getting home 45 mins early to hopefully catch UPS...... they didn't show up until like an hour after I normally would get home. Crisis averted no matter! Ended up going with the Otterbox Symmetry+ case. This phone feels too heavy to even stay on the magnet for my Magsafe vent mount in my car. Testing later today.

 

The fuck is this Apple Music update where it shows every credited individuals name on a track?

 

I noticed that on the new Pvris songs. Now I see it on the other new songs I added today. Don't like that.
