Yup. I used Spotify for 3-4 years before I finally made the switch, the UI is absolutely terrible. Couldn’t stand the way they handled your library.

 

Totally agree, and yet literally everyone I know seems shocked (and almost offended) when they remember I have AM instead

 

Welp, I lost my AirPods 3 only a month or so after getting them. Find My isn't working at all. Fun times!

 

After years of using Apple Music, I find the recommendations to be pretty on-point. People just have to think of New Music Mix as Discover Weekly & not Release Radar. But the New Releases section on the main screen usually has all of the new stuff I would be interested in. And then my personal radio station is another highlight.

 

The only thing Spotify does better imo is the end of year stuff. Their curated playlists used to be better but AM has caught up. Everything else they do is garbage

 

Hey all! My fiance has to trade in her old XR for the 14 she just got. A factory reset is all we need to do right? Her brother said something about turning off find my iPhone, but wouldn't a factory reset clear everything anyways? Clueless android guy over here haha.

correct, though once I used my old phone to set up the new one (which the iOS prompts you to do), there was also instructions on the phone on how to wipe it

 

My Apple Watch Series 6, which has been missing since April, just fell out of a jacket i was so sure i checked 3 times. I finally gave in and replaced it when the series 8 came out.

You could try some We Buy comparison sites to see which gives you the most estimated trade-in value. If it’s in excellent condition you’ll obviously get more.

I usually use them over Apple to trade my old tech in but this year Apple offered more for our iPhones over the comparison sites.

 

I wish Apple would do a black solo loop band. Are there any good alternatives that aren’t cheap?

 

The midnight is very, very close to black in most light.

New iPads just got announced if anyone was waiting for those (redesigned base model and M2 iPad Pros, from the looks of things)

EDIT: If they had released a Magic Keyboard Folio for the Pro's, i would've sold my Magic Keyboard and bought one of these right away. I miss the kickstand so much when I'm in bed watching content and don't need the keyboard all the time.

 

I’m still not seeing a reason to upgrade from my original 4K. Don’t use the storage and everything is still super fast/responsive. (except my movie library but I just bring my movies up via Siri or the search in the tv app)

Lower price is cool though, for new buyers!

 

Even if you have last years 4K it makes even less sense. Thinner and a faster chip looks to be the only benefits over last years.

 

A12 to A15 is a pretty significant jump hardware wise but yeah

 

I think this will be very beneficial in future proofing if the original starts to slow down or the next few years have big upgrades/changes to TvOS. Which I’d love.

 

Definitely gonna pick up one of the new Apple TV models in the next couple months

 

Won’t be upgrading our Apple TV 4K, very minimal upgrades.
