Has anyone with a new 14 had an issue with CarPlay asking for permissions to connect every single time? I think it's gotta be just a 14 issue, not an iOS one, because I didn't have this issue on my 12 Pro after updating to iOS 16.

 

Not me. I have 2 Subarus with terrible Starlink and it syncs up fine after the first permission on each car.

 

It's gotta be an issue with Ford's software. I've deleted the other iPhones that were paired and even "reset" the entire Ford Sync system and those deleted iPhones keep showing back up

 

Loving my Watch SE2 so far. It's noticeably more responsive than my Series 4 and it might just be my imagination but the screen seems ever-so-slightly bigger.

Also the weight difference is amazing. I was used to the weight of the old one, but this feels so much lighter.

 

Ford Sync is the worst platform I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. Entire OS is garbage.

 

I have two pairs of first gen AirPods Pro I’m selling for $100 each - both just had each right and left pro replaced too hahah

 

You seeing those AirPod Pro 2 reviews too my guy?

 

haha no I haven't seen them yet but I know I want a pair but I have no use for the first gen when I buy the second gen so I thought I'd try to sell them haha

 

Echoing the Sync hate. I’ve come very very close to punching a hole in my touch screen too many times to count now lol

I’ve not looked into it in probably a year or more but my 17 Explorer goes through periods where every time it downloads my contacts when I start the engine it lags like crazy trying to connect and then automatically dials 0. Hundreds of people have the same issue and there is literally not a single fix as far as I can tell. I’ve restored to factory settings like 10 times and nothing works.

It’s pretty minor in the grand scheme of things but it is absolutely infuriating at 430am on the way to work lol

 

It’s the reason I’ll never buy a Ford

 

I test drove a CrossTrek the same day I bought the Explorer and aside from comfort, because I’m an enormous man, I’ve regretted my choice almost ever day since lol

 

I drive a 2010 Civic still because it’s paid off and all that but yeah I would love to buy a new Ford Bronco but refuse

Outback owner checking in, StarLink isn't exactly amazing but it's miles better than Sync. 11" touch screen carplay is great. Only thing I wish is that Subaru had a better EV offering and they announced an EV Outback in the next year or so. Instant buy for me.

 

I really wish the new Apple Watch wasn’t so damn expensive… wanttt
