So I’ve noticed since the update it now takes a few seconds to register my phone is charging. Does this happen to anyone else? It’s every time I plug it in. I keep thinking my cable is bad

 

The iOS 16.1 beta really broke GPS on my 14 Pro Max. I hadn't really had any problems with the beta on my 13 Pro Max, but the transition to the new phone has been full of friction for me.

 

I’m not a great photographer, obviously, but boy does this camera make me wanna become one.

After a few days I also agree.

 

I’m working on reverting back to 16.0.1 and this whole thing has been an abject distaster. Taking forever, just lost fitness data/streaks because I had to reset my Watch, lost all of my data from Wednesday until this morning. Had to click through a million windows asking for passwords again for old Apple accounts I don’t use anymore (which was annoying enough the first time around). I want to be excited about the new phone, but the experience so far has been bad in almost every way.

 

Reason #999999 I never install betas on my everyday device.

 

I know it’s been said before, but it’s dope Verizon is giving us 800 dollars toward my partners iPhone 14 when she has the iPhone XR lol

 

What are some good cases anyone in here might recommend?

If anyone was like me and liked the World Time complication on your analog watch face and are annoyed at the +0hrs part in OS 9, I can recommend TimeGlance. Works just as expected.

 

Thanks, I’ll check these out. I loved making a complication that automatically turns on low power mode when my phone hit 50%. Really helped with my degraded battery on my 11. Keeping it on for the 14 pro.

I am struggling to pair watch with the phone. Think i might have to reset my watch :(

 

Had the same issue until I unpaired from my previous iPhone. Have you already done that?

I've recently created a shared iOS calendar with my wife and it seems, at random, that when I add an event to the calendar, it alerts her on her phone sometimes hours later. I don't know if it's happened with every single event I've created, but the ones I've noticed have been at the worst times like the middle of the night and the alert has woken us up.

I see the setting that we can turn off shared calendar alerts but they're nice to have if we can get them to work properly. Anyone else have this issue and know a fix?

 

New case and MagSafe base arrived. New watch comes tomorrow. Still 10 days for the phone . . .

 

Kaitie and I just use google for a shared calendar and then sync the calendar with both our Calendar apps and we both get email notifs when events are added and can create events right from the calendar app on the phone that way.

 

Yeah but I want to know why IOS syncing is being dumb!!!
