Updated my Series 5 watch last night and this morning it isn't vibrating for notifications. They show up, but no actual notifying.

Anyone else dealing with this?

Apparently, my iphone is at the store, but i cant get an appointment until Saturday. Hoping i can piggy back on my girlfriends appointment on Friday night.

 

I know that Apple bought Dark Sky a while back, and on Dark Sky there's now a message saying "Support for the Dark Sky app will be ending on January 1st, 2023. Darky Sky's forecast technology is now enhanced and integrated into the updated Apple Weather app."

If that is the case, why does Dark Sky and the Apple weather app have different temperatures and different precipitation information for my current location??

Did you get it at launch? 5% in a year seems pretty normal to me.

I’ve heard so many people say they have like 100% after a year of use, and I genuinely don’t understand how that’s even possible under normal usage. My launch 11 is at 79%

 

I really miss being able to adjust the volume on the lockscreen when playing a song. I'd use the pause/play icon as a reference to basically know how to get to a volume in a flash. Pulling down the control panel for volume is a bit annoying and the volume rocker jumps in sound too much per click. Otherwise ios16 is fine but maybe draining battery quicker? I have the 12pro for reference

I've never used a shortcut in my life. I don't even know what I would use one for in the mostly simple way I use my phone. I don't really use a calendar(app) for anything other than out of the ordinary things - Nothing like "pick up groceries at 5pm"; just remember to do it???. Looking at the cool custom widgets for the home screen, some of those seems cool but of course use shortcuts(I think). I played around with making a shortcut yesterday, and that shit is like calculus homework. I don't even know where to begin.

Side note I have a lot of HUE smart lights in the house, but I always just use the HUE app to turn them on manually. I'd like to integrate it into HOMEKit so I can "Hey siri" the stuff and set up things like when I come home they turn on. Yet again, never used HOMEkit.

The only shortcut I’ve ever made was on my wife’s phone to make Siri say inappropriate things when you plug and unplug the charger after seeing it on a TikTok when we both had Covid.
