keyboard haptics and battery percentage number update are lowkey standouts for me

 

Even though I was quick, our new iPhone Pros aren’t due till October 3rd at the earliest.

 

Weird. I wonder if it’s location. I canceled my apple preorder and reordered through xfinity yesterday, as they had a much better deal and it says Friday delivery for me.

Bit of a bummer that adding widgets removes the 3dness

 

This close to being able to have a phone slightly early.

 

Was excited that Apple Music finally let you sort playlist order. So I assumed that sorting it by “last song at the top” any subsequent added songs would appear at the top, like Spotify.

Nope, they go to the end. The less than basic features Apple Music struggles with or just won’t implement continues to baffle me.

Would love to use it over Spotify as I prefer it’s look, it’s library handling and live lyrics etc. I just want a connect like feature, a liked songs playlist (without having to add them to my library and use a smart playlist) and decent playlist sorting.

Maybe next year!

are you talking about editing the order of your songs in a playlist?

 

I guess the haptic keyboard feedback doesn't automatically work for 3rd party keyboards. Makes sense, but not something I thought about. I've used Gboard for years now.

 

I switched from Spotify to Apple Music earlier this year and have no regrets. The way Spotify handles your library is an absolute nightmare lol

 

spotify is mostly a complete and utter mess but they do playlists in a way apple somehow could never lol

 

My watch updated overnight -- what the hell happened to the Modular face?! The weather tile used to be so elegant, now it's an overcomplicated mess. All my icons that used to have transparent black backgrounds (e.g. date) now have gray circles around them, too.

 

Sort of, I know how to manually edit positions etc. What I want to do is just have a normal playlist where the most recent song is at the top. I have now discovered that the new sorting option is doing that.. it just doesn’t work on the songs that were added to the playlist pre iOS 16. Which is an odd choice.

So it does work.. it’s just a little underbaked.

 

I can’t stop playing with the remove background from photos feature

Anyone have a significant preference of cellular vs. WiFi on their Apple Watch? I've had 3 different Apple Watches over the years now, but have never seen a use case for cellular for me. I wasn't even considering it with my potential upgrade from a S6 to a S8, but with Verizon's current watch promos, the cellular version can more or less be had for the same price or less than the WiFi version, including monthly service for three years.

 

i had Cellular with the S4 and the only time it was handy is when i forgot my phone on a Run or Hike. Other than that, it wasnt worth the monthly service.

 

It's quite bizarre and I've never had this issue before. I've tried restarting, turning automatic updates off, turning them back on again, using WiFi, using cellular, but nothing.

 

i just checked and i got the download and update right away. Maybe hard reset your phone?

 

I've had WiFi only ever since I got an Apple Watch. I've considered the cellular version, but the only time I might need it is out on a run if I decide to go farther, or end up running much slower, than I originally anticipated. But I can count on one hand the number of times that's happened.

 

After a little googling apparently the Modular watch face was removed and replaced with Infograph Modular (renamed to just Modular). This was the only face I use, incredibly frustrated
