My order was done at 8:02am. Apple Store app always seems to work gloriously for me.

 

And ... done ...

 

Repeatedly gave me an error every time I tried to check out and kept telling me to try again. So I did, over and over again. Gave up after trying like a dozen times and was ready to call, and then I got a confirmation email. Hope I didn’t just get charged for a dozen 14 Pros!

 

Used the Verizon app this year without issue. Purple 14 pro max and black 14 pro

 

I went to Tim Apple's Hell Site to order the new iPhone and now I'm posting this through tears of laughter

Won't surprise me if my order gets cancelled, ugh. Somehow it used an old Apple Card account that was cancelled many years ago for the payment under my IUP upgrade. Makes no sense when my IUP payments are for my current Apple Card, not the old one. Billing address is different from my shipping one too.

 

You can probably call and get it changed - apple doesn’t charge any card until the item ships

 

Ha, they can't take my call or chat requests at this time, which makes sense.

I did a backup order just in case before the dates slip, so maybe I'll just take this chance to get out of the IUP and do a normal trade every year. Something else to fall off of the monthly budget.

 

Possibly a dumb question, but:

Upgraded on the apple store through AT&T, and it didn't give me the option for monthly apple care, only the lump payment of $199 or whatever

I'll still be able to activate the monthly option when I receive my device right?

 

Yeah, you'll have 60 days to add it, either in full or monthly.

 

Got my order in, but the 11 day delay on the case has me nervous.

 

My wife works for a corporate Verizon store so we have an employee account with a bag discount on the plans. That also means I can't get a phone through them until probably a month out to let the preorders and hype die down. I could go through Apple like I did for my 12 Pro, but Verizon will offer a better trade in bonus(and/with bill credit) going through them so I'm going to be patient and wait on the 14 Pro. HOPEFULLY I can get one in my hands by October 30th since that's when we leave for Disneyworld....

 

Having it on discount from day one is such a blessing. And having Apple Card is an even better blessing.

ordered the new AirPods Pro

apple repaired my iPhone 12 Pro yesterday and I did the manual set up without transferring a lot of my old data and it feels new again. I don't think I'm going to pull the trigger on the 14 and wait to see what they do next year. my wife will probably upgrade though because she's still using the 11.

 

another nice thing about Verizon is they're taking phones for credit regardless if they're damaged or not as long as the battery is fine. Kaitie's back glass is shattered but she's still getting a $800 credit since the phone works and batter is healthy.

 

Man, if only I didn't still owe $400 on my current phone... My fiance just ordered the new iphone though
