Edgy? I just think it looks like my dish washer, it's not attractive to me. Not sure I can turn off what I find aesthetically pleasing. No idea what the price difference would be to my monthly cell phone bill between the two phones, but my computer and phone are arguably the two most important things in my life, they're literally how I make a living, so I'll always spend whatever I need to on them to do my job better.

I have a pair I use while working out, around the house not annoying people. They're best for podcasts IMO.

 

Well that channel is funny along with being informative. Plus, he gets some pretty serious exclusives especially when it comes to Apple; he had an iPhone 7 Plus dummy unit a while ago.

 

I want a pair for while I'm getting doubledribblejr to sleep and for while I'm writing at night while everyone is sleeping.

 

Was leaning towards that beautiful jet black, but the fact that Apple felt the need to add a disclaimer noting that it is essentially more prone to showing scratches is pushing me more towards the black phone. Both look fantastic, though.

Male lightning on one side, female lightning on the other and then the AUX port. It will look like a "Y".

 

ok did they actually make the phone thinner or is it the same thickness with no headphone jack now? LOL

 

Should have kept it the same width but filled it with a larger battery.

 

Dollars to donuts Samsung will release phones next year with no headphone jack either but there will be zero outrage

 

This is admittedly a very shitty solution, but for those of you using badass cassette adapters (like me!) or aux only in your car you could look into purchasing a pretty inexpensive Bluetooth receiver for less than $15 on Amazon. Like I said, shitty solution, but a solution nonetheless.

 

Getting rid of the headphone jack doesn't really affect me because I mostly just listen to stuff from my phone via bluetooth in my car. But I'm still not a huge fan of it.
