Apple TV got 18 Emmy nominations

including theses 6 for the morning show

 

i just started the morning show, through 6 episodes, and i'm really really enjoying it. Mark Duplass and Jennifer Aniston are incredible in it, assuming Carrel plays a bigger role in the final few episodes. saw a lot of mixed bag reviews of it on here.

 

I liked it a lot. Billy Crudup is awesome.

yeah apparently phones aren't going into production till late this month. we will probably get two keynotes this fall.

 

Seems the rumours about the new iPhones coming late October is true then.

 

perfect timing. My contract expires early November.

Is there a way to "turn off" Airpods when i'm not using them? Or do I just to have make sure they aren't connected to every bluetooth enabled device? Didn't use them all day from being fully charged last night and they're almost dead.

 

do you not put them back in the charger case when not using them?

 

I just got them so I assumed you could just leave them out?

 

i just always keep mine in the case when not using them. I think they drain slowly when out of the case, even when not in use. i will leave them out of the case for short periods, maybe i went to see a movie and didnt want to bring the case, but otherwise they're always in there.

 

They should effectively "turn off" when out of your ears I thought. But either way I always store them in the case when not using them. I think that disconnects them as well.

 

I just want to know if an updated AppleTV is coming out soon.

It's been rumored that they have one ready to go but nothing solid about a release date.

 

being stupid and downloading the iOS 14 beta because I'm so bored haha - thankfully it's the 8th update and I believe the GM should be out next week

 

lol Jon Prosser is always wrong

 

Not sure what it is about Jon Prosser but I just really don't like that guy much. Anyways, I'm mega excited for a new Apple Watch. My Series 1 is unusable at this point.

 

I’ve been running it on my daily driver (iPhone 11) since beta 4 and had very few issues. You’ll be good.
