It looks really cool. Still under the MacBook Air weight from what I can tell combined too. I imagine 5 years from now it'll be perfect.

I really want it, I really shouldn't spend money right now, but man, it would be awesome to write the newsletter from that thing each week over on the couch or whatever. Feels like it can take the iPad to the next level.

 

I got the 11 inch pro last Friday. I feel like it’s such an upgrade on my old iPad. I felt it was very weird going from FaceID to TouchID. It’s nice having FaceID on both and I much prefer the screen on the 11 inch.


Now I just need to tell myself I don’t need that damn Magic Keyboard over and over again for the next couple of weeks.

 

12.9 inch iPad Pro with that keyboard will be my gift to myself when i get my new job in July

My Magic Keyboard just shipped and should be here Wednesday, if not a day sooner. Pretty stoked but hope it’s worth the steep, steep price.

 

hahaha. It will be interesting if he brings it up on The Talk Show. I wonder if it will be talked about on the after show of Do By Friday....

On my iphone, my whatsapp contacts were showing on the contacts sheet when sharing things. This was super handy. Now they dont appear? Anyone know where the setting is to switch it back on ?

 

Yeah it was added like two weeks ago but around a week ago it was removed. Seems there were some bug and WhatsApp did what they do best. Just removed it.

 

The Magic Keyboard looks so cool

 

Anybody have any experience with the pre-ship/tracking info on Apple’s website being wrong? Have something arriving between today and Thursday and it still just says processing..starting to get worried.

 

I asked a while back about iPad recs and a few people said the 10.2" was a good option. For those of you who have that model, have you had any issues with it? I was looking around and have seen a lot of mixed reviews. I thankfully picked up more work recently so I could go for the Air if it's the better option.

 

Federico is absolutely the best. Already fixing a gripe I would have had. I’m excited for mine to arrive. Should be here within the next couple hours.

 

I’ll definitely be upgrading to the 12 this year. The leaked renders look like they’ve combined the best elements of the 11 and 5.

 

Did you end up getting it? It should say "shipped" if it's on the way to you.

 

I did not. There are actually 2 items. the one with the further out shipping range says preparing to ship but the one that could have arrived today still says processing. Guess I’ll just give it until Thursday before I panic, haha. Still within the given time on both of them..just anxious.

 

Okay, yeah, it’s been 30 minutes and I’m already convinced I’ll never not use this keyboard. This is a laptop now.

A) The weight is being incredibly overblown, and actually adds to just how amazingly sturdy this thing feels.
B) The maximum angle is actually better that what you get the with the Smart Folio Keyboard and I have the picture to prove it. A lot of folks I’ve seen complain that the max angle was less than the SKF, which is simply false. AND the iPad sits higher, making the angle even less of an issue. I can only assume that they are not tilting it back completely.

 

Jealous. This is one of the things I’m waiting on to ship lol.

 

I got a second HomePod today. I really want the new Smart Keyboard but I have a brand new MacBook Air and it's just super redundant haha
