Is there no way to just swipe and delete contacts or select a bunch and delete? I need to clean mine out badly and don't want to do this one by one.

I don't think I've ever used the contacts app. to my knowledge, those have always just been there in the phone app as well, since the beginning of iOS.

That's rough. Wish you could swipe left and have edit/delete show up. Would be so much faster than going into each contact, hitting, edit and scrolling down to delete. Likely why I still haven't deleted old/out of date contacts haha.

Only thing I can think of is they don't want people to accidentally swipe and delete a contact, since that information can sometimes be near impossible to get back if it's not somebody who is easily accessible to you.

True, but I'd be fine with a "Are you sure?" dialog box. I think that still cuts down on difficulty of deleting contacts.

I need to delete almost all of the contacts with just a first name because I'm over here like, uh which person are you?

I don't think this was announced on stage and it's hard to convey how important this is but Apple is ditching HFS+ for a new I house developed file system and I could not be happier to finally have this plague out of my life

  13. catching up on the keynote now - watchOS 3.0 is fucking fantastic, love that sling is coming to tvOS, and macOS Sierra has some great features that I've been waiting for a long time. iOS presentation about to start - thoughts to follow

  15. man some of the complaints on the internet today lol

can't believe people are shocked that 2016 software doesn't work on hardware built in 2009 lol

Guess you have to be part of the $99/year Developer program to get iOS and MacOS developer previews. I am a little annoyed but I guess that makes sense. Oh well, I can wait until July

Looking forward to this a lot. I feel like Apple tends to be a late on a lot of things hah.

freeudid.com <-- You can register your iPhone there and be able to update. I have signed up and I'm currently waiting on confirmation that my UDID is registered, I'll come back and say if it works or not (it has in past years for me, but I haven't used this specific service).

EDIT: It works, currently on my iPhone

  23. Love the new music overhaul - I have had zero issues with Apple Music since its launch I dunno what you guys are doing to mess it up haha

  24. iOS 10 tap to replace emoji feature will be the go-to feature for moms everywhere

But the messages portion of the keynote wasn't that bad - if you don't like it don't use it haha

The Apple Music overhauls are cute but all I care about is the music on my phone and a little radio once in a blue moon. Overall this seems like a good update.

Oh and the new News icon kinda sucks. The icon looks like the Dota logo and all around looks a bit cheaper. But the app itself looks better.
