They were much more popular like ... 10 years ago.

Basically most websites have an RSS feed. You can subscribe to it via a reader and it'll pull in all of the posts from all the websites into one place for you to read. Instead of having to visit 20 sites, you can get all the content in one place. They fell out of favor once Twitter got big, Google shut down their service, and websites started posting 100+ times a day, making them overwhelming if you subscribe to a lot of places.

My music folder gets inundated with music news, but I subscribe to quite a few blogs that I want to make sure I don't miss posts from.

Just got a notification/prompt I need to sign back into my Apple ID that I never signed out of and when I typed my password in it said it has been locked for security purposes and then asked me to put in my unlock code...is this legit? I canceled from the screen asking for my unlock code and it all went away and hasn’t come back...it looked legit but that’s never happened to me before.

Oh totally. I happily paid for the app even though I knew I didn’t need everything it offered. It’s just a great way to get through everything quickly so it was worth it.

 

Hasn’t happened since. I think I’m gonna change my Apple ID pw just to be safe..

 

Last week I got the 11 inch ipad pro, now I'm kinda wondering if I should have gone for the 12.9. Thoughts from those that have the new 12.9? And is it even possible to just return my 11 inch and swap for the bigger size?

 

Should be possible if you bought directly from Apple. I believe they have a two-week return policy.

Yep. Only started happening after I set up my new MB Air

 

I finally just typed in my unlock code and it had me reset my password and remotely logout of all other devices. Had to re-enter the PW like 4 more times between iCloud and iTunes/AppleMusic on my phone and MacBook. So annoying.

 

I just got my wife the XS (jelly.) I REALLY hope she doesn’t experience this or I’m gonna get an earful. Lol

 

Came here to see if anyone else had their account locked this morning. Really weird.

 

Haven’t noticed anything else weird since. Was kind of worried when I typed my password initially because I stupidly use it elsewhere but I think everything is cool now.

 

apparently the magnets in the pro are impressive.

 

This sleeve fits the new 11" iPad Pro with the Smart Folio on it. I don't have a pencil, so I don't know if it will fit with that on it as well, but there looks to be enough space on the side for it. It's only $9.99 and has very little branding. It's plain, but I like plain.

I've been impressed with the smart folio so far, but I don't think I'd want to throw it in a backpack all by itself. Figured I'd toss out the link if anyone else is looking for something similar.

Fits behind the computer as well, with all my ugly cords.

 

The concept of the iPhone XI having the same frame as the iPad Pro is really cool.

I have the original pro with the folio keyboard type cover but luckily my North Face backpack has a neoprene iPad compartment.

I’m so tempted by the new pro though.

Also... that stand looks awesome.

 

Anyone get the MacBook Air and have impressions on it? Hardware-wise it sure seems pretty underpowered but I have a feeling Apple worked some magic to make it better than the sum of its parts. I spilled water on my 2011 MacBook Pro (RIP) and am trying to figure out what to pick up. It would pain my soul to get a Windows machine but Surface Laptop 2 looks pretty cool for the price, so at this point I'm deciding between Surface Laptop 2, a MacBook Air, or waiting for a non-touchbar MacBook Pro to come out with a 3rd gen keyboard at some point in the future.

This may seem dumb but Windows 10 reminds me of work bc that's what I use at... work. Whereas Mac OS feels more like an escape because I've only ever used it on my own MacBook.

Set up my XR (mostly) last night and had some more time to play around with it today. I'm used to the weight/size difference between the 6s already. Had a little trouble restoring my Fiery Feeds purchase and ended up being charged even though I had a subscription already, but Apple refunded it for me and it looks like I'll still have access until the new renewal date. It was a weird situation that I'm still confused by, but doesn't detract from how much I'm liking the phone. No home button is going to take me a few days to get used to, though. I keep trying to tap it only to realize it isn't there.
