  1. She was so cute when she was explaining she can’t tell us the album name because no swearing allowed

  2. I wonder how close I could get to an 11" iPad cost if I sold my MacBook and Air 2.

I shouldn't even be thinking about this.

  3. Do it

I’m ordering the 11 inch one for my wife

Not sure if this is the place but I currently have an iphone 6 and looking to upgrade. I'm weighing between the 8 and the XR and probably just leaning towards the 8 because the differences seem really small. Any reason to just get the XR? I rarely ever have the newest phones so that isn't a huge deal to me.

  5. I don't know the price difference, but I'd get the XR if price didn't matter. The camera, battery, and performance are noticeably better.

    You're evil.

Basic trade in could get me about $600 bucks. Wonder what the Craigslist prices look like.

Definitely suggest using Let Go or Mercari.

Man, was hoping for more in the iPad department. I have the mini 4, which I love, but have been interested in picking up a bigger screen iPad to better read comics/manga, but the Pro redesign makes me think of the existing iPad style as ugly now, lol. Fuck.

  9. Never heard of either of those ... I'm so out of touch. Will look into.

especially if it's a glass top. my Air 2 is like a magnet on glass tables and I basically pick it up using the smart cover.

  12. Cool looking website.

If someone messages you a different price/negotiate ... how do you then sell it? Do you change the price?

have successfully sold a pair of beats and an iphone on letgo, it worked out pretty well. only hiccup is for every person interested will be 15 people trying to lowball you into selling your device for like $10.

  14. The worst part of any of those websites.

They shouldn't allow a messaging option to be honest. Just a "submit an offer" -- then you can just go through and reject shit.

agreed, the messaging option just allows people to keep bugging you or god forbid you're at work or not checking the app for a few hours you come back to

    "hey"

    "hello?"

    "it is still for sale??"

    "????"

    "hmu"

  16. Exactly. Remove any part where I have to actually interact with another human please. It'd be way better.

I think it's something where you negotiate the price privately. Someone can offer you a price that's lower than what you have it listed for and you can counter offer or accept. I don't think you'll have to change the price to be displayed for everyone.

I've only ever bought off of both sites. I've never sold anything. @Jason Tate

I use offer up for that type of stuff as well. Used it as a buyer and a seller, it works well.

Yeah I honestly have no use for my Pro. I already have a (albeit, older) Mac Mini as a media server. Debating selling my MB Pro and 2018 iPad/Pencil and using that towards the 11". I'm so blown away by this thing.

Those new iPad Pros look incredible. I think the 12.9 is a legitimate laptop replacement for me, but I still query whether it’s small/portable enough to comfortably use as a tablet.

The photos/videos from the show have only confused me more haha. I’ve always thought the 11” form factor was the sweet spot but it looks tiny now, even with the bigger screen.

i would probably go with the 12" as a macbook replacement because the macbook i have is 12" and i already know thats an easily portable size convenient for pretty much any train or air travel. this is gonna be tough to resist. i almost dont want to even look into how much of a credit i could get for my macbook now and current ipad air2.
