Was there anything worth nothing in the most recent update for the iPhone? It was updated for me so I didn't have a chance to see what all was included in the update. I thought there was a way to check after the fact in setting somewhere, but haven't been able to find it.

So I saw that they pulled the latest update that is bricking the 9.7 pros but it has already been downloaded, just not installed on mine. Every night it asks me to install and says it will overnight if I plug it in to charge. Obviously I don't want to do this but is there any way to get it to stop asking me to install it or do I have to wait for the next update?

 

I believe you can actually delete the update file before it installs. Go to 'Settings > Storage > Storage & iCloud Usage> Manage Storage' and you should see an update file there that you can swipe on and delete.

Is there any possible way to add lyrics to a song in iTunes, so that you can view it on our phone when playing a track? I feel like I remember years ago I could tap on the album art on my phone and it would show lyrics if they were in the file.

 

I remember you could do that like 10 years ago haha. Don't use iTunes anymore though.

But you used to be able to go into more info and there was a little tab you could click on that would let you add text.

 

Just answered my own question. There is a lyrics tab when you hit get info on individual songs so you put it in there. Then when you're on the 'now playing' screen in the music app on iOS you tap on the album art and it shows you the lyrics.

God they need to attach those into the Apple Music songs to make it an automatically there feature.

 

Yeah Apple definitely needs their own format for lyrics. Now they encourage you to download a coinciding app to view the lyrics, which is annoying bc most of those programs suck.

Have a trial for Apple Music right now. Really don't like that if I pause a song and push play a few minutes later it starts over

 

picked up apple music for the chance the rapper mixtape, and I'm enjoying it overall. although, it randomly just decided I needed to be connected to wi-fi to play the new tiny moving parts album even though I downloaded it from the cloud onto my phone. did the same thing with the chance the rapper mixtape and the three songs from the new PUP album. has this happened to anyone else?

Yes! I feel like in 2016 that is an in your face, obviously needed feature.

So it will be like musixmatch then...I can dig that I guess. I'd rather them just be how they are now where I can read them and follow along myself, but it's a step.

 

I was thinking today how cool it was that the Hotelier included a word document with the digital download to Goodness and how that should happen more often.

 

If that rumor about the new MacBook pros getting a "macbook-esque" keyboard are true I'm going to be really really pissed

 

I've used that keyboard, and it's fine.

 

I have also used that keyboard and it is not fine for me. It still feels like typing on a touchscreen. Change the switch type if you must but keep the key travel the same

I was hoping new models would be out by end of the summer but I'm reading Q4, which is probably too late for me.

 

A Q4 MacBook release doesn't seem right.

Couldn't see new models of MacBook, iPhone, iPad and possibly Apple Watch being all released at the same time.

 

Opinion: What can we expect from the 2016 MacBook Pro, and will it be worth the wait?

Here's one of the things I found, I'm not super familiar with credible Apple sources on the internet so anyone fee free to tell me this is bullshit. It also mentions 13- and 15-inch MacBooks on the same schedule.

 

Do you get errors from the device saying you're running out of space?
