I feel like I'm missing something during this set up. it can't be this easy.

 

in a few versions the control centre is going to be in the app switcher

maybe I'm fine with the placement so far. although that is only 30 minutes of actual use. if it doesn't work for others they might have to move it. the cc in the app switcher works well for my ipad pro, wonder what that would actually be like in use on the iphone though.

 

no dude you're totally right it's dumb and it sucks no one should have to stretch their hands there.

 

the only problem with having the cc in the app switcher I see, is the slight delay on the time it would take to open. one swipe is fairly quick, putting it into the app switcher is a swipe, slight pause, then swipe left? it's an interesting challenge though. placing it where everyone can get easy access to it.

 

I'm totally fine with the way it is. Having it in the app switcher is way too long.

I've never messed around with smart playlists in Apple Music, this is cool.

 

Does anyone else have issues playing music through the iPhone X speakers at full volume? Mine comes out pretty distorted.

This and the screen losing functionality in the cold are my two big concerns right now.

 

The latter is a defect that’s covered by warranty

 

I did notice my speakers sound pretty distorted, granted I haven't had a phone where the top speaker is anything but for phone calls. It just sounds like shit 90% of the time.
As for the phone in the cold, apparently Apple is working on a software fix? Although that seems like a hardware defect more than anything.

 

Second issue will be resolved with an upcoming software update.

 

Have definitely noticed a degrade in speaker quality in the X, compared to my 7 Plus. Curious if the limited space has something to do with it. I very rarely used the speaker though, so it's not a big deal to me.

 

I'm getting used to the gestures now. Although still struggling to find the best way to invoke multitasking. I also keep forgetting where CC is.
