  1. You're telling me you don't want to put two windows side by side, taking up all the screen, when you're coding (for example)? What would you rather do in that situation?

My mind basically has two window modes, full screen or half screen, and then I take advantage of cmd+tab and virtual spaces.

  2. Ah, yeah, for coding, that totally makes sense. I use Moom and have a keyboard shortcut to put my apps, browsers, development tools, and other things in the places I like them for stuff like that.

What you want for half-screen is Split View. Hold down on the green window button.

Ordered an iPhine SE for work and they're back ordered till June (through Verizon at least). So that's fun

  5. Holy shit. Did they totally not predict demand?

It is probably just a Verizon thing, the Apple store in Buffalo has them in stock but since I'm not the primary on our Verizon account I can't use the upgrade at an Apple store. However the Apple store in Rochester is also sold out, as are all the third party retailers near me. So it might also be demand

I'll be with you the whole way.

I subscribed to Apple Music, and I'm very happy with it.
Still, my beloved iPod Classic is sleeping in a drawer, and I find it pretty sad.
Anyone still keeping it the old way? Besides, is there any device able to sync with Apple Music?
Tired of working out and stuff with my iPhone..!

I have a 4th gen iPod from 2005 that still works like the day I bought it. I haven't tried syncing it with songs from Apple Music though. Don't know if that'll work.

I kinda doubt anything but the iPod touch would be able to sync with Apple Music. I do miss having an iPod touch dedicated to playing music in my car but it just doesn't make sense anymore with a 128GB phone.

I use Airmail 2 on my Macs and Spark on my iOS devices. This has worked well enough that I'm not actively looking for new email clients as I wait for Spark to make it to Mac. Airmail 2 has good customization options and plays pretty well with all my various emails.

I use Magnet. It's cheap, it's simple, it's effective. Here's a screenshot of one of my screens on my 27" iMac. I use a combination of Magnet and Stay to keep everything in place. I have a crazy multiple monitor window solution as well, but that shit is complicated. I'd be happy to explain it if anyone is interested. It's a solution for going between using a macbook by itself and then plugging it in to multiple monitors without everything jumping around.

  13. I think I try out Airmail once every 6 months and something bugs me enough to not switch. Hahah.
I've heard good things about this App. It looks definitely more user friendly than Moom, which has been my go to and is a little more fiddly to get to do what you want.

I have like 5 email accounts to manage (consulting, amirite?) and I couldn't handle logging into gmail on a browser or using outlook or apple mail so I had to make due with Airmail.

I love it. I had used Cinch forever and saw Magnet in the app store one day and never looked back.

I had no idea about this! I was still doing this the cumbersome way.

Is Apple Music's search behaving weirdly for anyone else? Like, for example, when I searched for Pity Sex it only showed me some split they did. And when I did the same for Modern Baseball it only showed me an Apple-made playlist. I have no idea what's happening.

I updated my iPod classic to an iPod touch shortly after Apple Music came out, I just download everything I listen to offline mode. I only have 16 gigs on my phone, so i love having a designated device for just my music.

Glad to know it's not just me!

For a moment I thought a bunch of stuff had left the service and I was getting scared.

I have noticed some stuff disappear recently, though. Kinda annoying. I wonder why there are some bands that only have one album missing.

The latest Jeff Rosenstock record is on Spotify and even a local streaming service but isn't on Apple Music. I can't think of a reason why.

Living outside the US makes the copyright stuff even weirder.

Fortunately you can just buy the albums and upload them to Apple Music.

Yeah, I just went through my hard drive, and nothing was taken from me. Don't have much saved to my computer since I made the jump to Apple Music, but its frightening. Reconsidering Apple Music right now even though I really dislike Spotify.
