  1. I wouldn’t get it unless you have a 4K tv. Really the only reason I think.

Sorry for taking this off topic but which beats do you have/do you like them? I’m considering getting Bluetooth over-ears and I’m debating between beats and others.
If anyone else has input, please chime in!

AmazonBasics Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Audio Adapter with Remote and Lightning Charging Port for iPhone X / 8 Plus / 8 / 7 Plus / 7 (Supports Music Control), White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072FS6SRM/?tag=absolutepunk-20

This charger/headphone combined adapter doesn’t look bad and it’s $5 cheaper than the Belkin version. Suprisenly AmazonBasics makes some quality stuff.

  8. Haha, it's the new one from Crooked Media, hasn't aired yet, but I wanna check it out when it does.

Well, that makes sense haha. I'll probably stick with just Pod Save America because my brain can't handle an overload of politics.

  11. YES! If you're considering them, get them. I've had them for a couple weeks now I think and bought them on a whim and don't regret it at all. I use them at the gym, so I'm laying down on the bench, doing overhead press, shrugs, etc. A lot of times my wired bluetooth headphones would fall out during those exercises and the airpods stay put. I run a lot too, and same thing. My ears get sweaty and the silicone tips would constantly slide out and i'd have to adjust them mid-run. The airpods don't have that problem at all. They're great for discreetly listening to music and podcasts in the office and doing chores or moving around the house at night when i don't want to disturb my neighbors. 100/10. they're amazing.

Haha, thanks for the glowing review. I went to the Target near me twice over the weekend, but just couldn't pull the fucking trigger yet. It's a little bit more than I kind of want to spend. Taking the week to think it over and see how I feel after sitting on it for a bit. Also have my annual review this week and if it goes well I'll probably buy them (spoiler: I'll get fuckall when it comes to a raise, so whatever. Sigh, issue for another thread.)

Probably wouldn't use them for work, though. I have a pair of wireless over the ear Bose I really love that I use at work. While not the new wireless noise canceling, they do a good job of shutting all the noise out. The Airpods would be more for home and when out of the house. Hate carrying wired headphones around because I'm tall and so the distance between my pockets and ears are too much of a distance for most headphones, haha.

Airpods are definitely worth it. Bought them a couple months back when Best Buy had them in stock and they're probably the best purchase I've made in a long time. Battery life of the pods + charger is unbelievable.

I've seen AirPods popping up in public more often now, which is cool, especially in this area where everyone is kind of reserved for the fear of looking like a dork.

The people that use the peel cases does it have an sort of buffer on the front of the case that help prevent the screen from dropping directly on the ground. I currently have a small otter box case that is starting to rip through the thinner parts near the connectors after 3 years. I’m interested in something like a peel case. Just curious if it provides much more protection than from scratches.

  16. There isn't much protection for drops at all with peel cases, only really from scratches.

No, I have one and it’s literally just scratch protection.

First time *actually* using Apple Music and man it's great. I don't think I'll ever go back to Spotify. The cloud library just works so much better than my experience with Spotify's. I never had music on my actual phone before so this feels like I have an iPod all over again in a weird way.
