my roommate picked up the 8 yesterday and while it's a beautiful phone it only solidified the fact that I'm going to try my hardest to get a X. I'm so ready for the next generation of iPhone, even if that comes at a premium this time around.

 

I love the home button. I don't think I could do the X. Hopefully they keep making the iphone 8 style for years to come.

 

Oh, the home button is definitely gonna die on all lines within 3-5 years. Just a matter of time until they can build the screens at scale.

 

My phone is all set up. Getting used to the size will be tough but I love this phone

I used to have to get the highest gig model for my music collection but thanks to streaming I don’t have to splash for the top of the line gig version anymore. Love Apple Music I don’t know what I do without it.

Does anyone else find asking Siri to play music or change song whilst driving a huge + like me?

I installed the iOS 11.1 beta and got a bug where the "home line" or whatever it's called from the iPhone X appeared at the bottom of my screen. Apple just really wants me to buy the X.

 

Still having a ton of problems with my 6. Don’t wanna switch to 8 or X but considering SE, anyone know if they have plans to upgrade it in the near future?

 

Put my case through the wash a few weeks back. Thankfully the AirPods weren’t in them at the time. Had to order a replacement case, haha.

 

No idea about Apple upgrading the SE - if anything they might update it to a better chip (A10 perhaps) but that would be it and that would probably happen in the spring

 

My mom bought the 8 plus...she's obsessed. She keeps texting me about all the features and speed. She did upgrade to the 8 plus from a 5s, so I get it.

Meanwhile, I'm on my 6s having issues since upgrading to the new iOS haha. Anyone else having issues?

 

What kind of issues? I'm having some with my 6.

 

I've noticed it's significantly slower, especially my GPS. also music isn't downloading or saving, battery life is significantly worse, and it freezes.

Never had these issues before the update.

 

My 6S never froze until I upgraded to iOS 11. I had some battery issues too but turning off auto brightness solved it for me.

 

My early 2011 MacBook Pro seems to have a little difficulty with High Sierra, but it isn’t terrible. Just not as smooth as Sierra was for me.
