It did this to me, but like ten minutes later it was back to normal like nothing happened

 

Yeah, that's happened to me after software updates before. Just takes a little while to sync it all.

 

For some reason, on my iPad, the Facebook app shops up in my dock, but with an alarm clock notification on it. Any idea what this means and how to get rid of it?

 

I think it means you usually use the app at that time of day ... it’s the suggested app section of the dock

 

my apple music resynced but my downloads disappeared. ughhh

 

Think this new update fixed a lot of the slow animation problems in my 6. Everything seems a lot smoother now. I didn't have an issue with battery life with the 11.0 release so I'm not noticing much of a difference there.

 

If you go to the factory they should be able to reset it. That should fix any issues you’re having.

 

Got my MBP yesterday, holy crap it's so thin,light, and fast. And it handles serious photo editing in Lightroom no problem. It does get pretty hot, but that's the nature of laptops I suppose

 

alright, somebody diagnose my problem

1. my alarm vibrates but no sound is made. the sound when on silent option is clicked on
2. when using the volume controls, it does not have the volume level pop up as it usually does
3. the volume does actually change on the music menu, but it doesn't change on the control panel. i.e. the control panel says the volume is maxed but the music menu might say it's at half
4. it fixes itself temporarily when i do a soft reset

If it's somehow due to the battery being swollen then I believe it's covered under a REP through Apple (as long as there is no external damage evident): Apple extends repair coverage to 3 years for Apple Watch (1st gen) w/ expanded/swollen batteries

Same thing happened to a friend of mine and they covered it under that.

 

That would be awesome.

Edit: After looking at her Watch myself, and reading up on the issue, this is exactly what is happening. Stoked that it will be a free fix.

Curious if anyone else thinks this is a lot of battery drain with how little I’ve used my 6s today. Trying to gauge what my expectations of the battery should be with iOS 11

 

I have the suggested app section turned off and it still pops up. Even when I drag it off the dock it still pops up and Facebook isnlt even opened.
