Is there anyway to clear all notifications before they get moved to the "older" notifications section? I don't see a X at the top.

The new control center is so much better. Hated having to swipe between cards in iOS 10. On iPad tho, is there no way to open an app in split view that’s not in the dock?

 

Sometimes there is an X there. Sometimes not.

 

What kind of phone do I need to be able to use AR apps?

No chance this is true

 

The delayed preorder and November release are enough to indicate there is a chance it’s true.

 

Parts are probably constrained but it probably is already in production

 

If it wasn’t already in production they wouldn’t have announced a release date (ie AirPods airpower etc)

If supply chain news isn’t coming from Ming Chi Kuo then I don’t believe it

 

Reading this review, is it safe to say some of the negatives of the new Apple TV could be fixed down the road? That's the impression I get from reading the article. My only concern is if programs on my non-4k tv will look weird.

I still lean on the side of upgrading is a good move since I am on a much outdated second generation box. Is there anyone in here that is better versed than I that can help me out?

I guess I don’t know what that means for me. I have a 4K television that does not support HDR, which I admittedly bought too early. It looks like I can set the mode to just be 4K SDR, and everything will look fine? It sounds like this may be more of an HDR processing issue than anything, so I’d assume my 1080p movie w/ SDR setting on would just upscale and look how it usually would.

 

I don't love Beats, but it just seems so obvious for them to do something like this with the Apple W1 chip and quick connection to devices. I wish there was more news on that front. The Bose headphones are close to what I want, but I just don't want to pay $250 for earbuds.

 

I have the wireless version now of the sounds soundsports, so if these are the same fit, im in. Most comfortable I’ve ever had.

 

My iphone preorder is still showing pending on Sprint with no updates since the night i ordered. Starting to get nervous I'm not getting it tomorrow even though I ordered with in the first 6 minutes of it going live

 

Also instant markup isn't showing up for me when I take a screenshot now? It showed up yesterday but now it's just saving the screenshot in my photos app like iOS 10.

this was happening to my friend yesterday, try turning the phone off and on again. that worked for him.

 

I'm actually experiencing the same thing. The Listening To section does not update for me either.

 

I'm cool with pretty much everything in ios11 except for the new podcast app. It's so much less simple.

Sidenote: I did end up ordering an new MBP but due to my custom config I have to wait for it to ship from China

 

Typically I am very indifferent about iOS updates but 11 is just significantly better. Everything feels fluid.
