ive been really good lately at deleting text messages.

 

Idk. Just a recommendation. All those pictures and stuff are saved and it's a good automatic way so you're not trying to do it manually. Like if you have a iMessages conversation with a good friend/family/significant other that you don't delete ever it will keep messages that are older than a certain date. So the convo is still there it's only the recent messages.

 

i appreciate the suggestion of changing the setting about automatically deleting texts though, i actually didnt know there was a setting for that!

 

Also does anyone else's music app have the bug where it'll start the next song at like a random spot of the song? And when you press rewind it will go back to the same spot, then you have to close the app completely and reopen for it to work. Only for it to do it again in 10 damn songs.

 

I'm digging this TV app. I probably won't use it a ton but it's about time the did something like this.

Apple Music Question:

Does anyone know why certain songs would be grayed out after adding them to a playlist? For example, NIN-Year Zero. I can play the entire album in Apple Music, but when a song is added to a playlist it then becomes unplayable.

 

same. it'll be a lot more useful once more apps/services sign-on.

 

is it an apple music playlist? is that song not actually in apple music and was uploaded by you?

 

Nope the song is definitely in Apple Music already. Not my own.

When I add a song to a personal playlist I'm making, it shows it in the playlist but it's grayed out and unplayable. I'm confused as to why Apple Music would allow a song to be played in one place but not another.

 

Mine does that too. I either try closing the app or deleting and re downloading the song again. It's really annoying

I'm not active in this board so apologies if this has been answered already. I've been thinking about upgrading to MBP for a while and might finally pull the trigger this month. Has anyone used the new ones extensively that might have insight? Is the touch bar well-integrated and being utilized? Are the battery problems as bad as reported? Etc.

 

i've had mine a few weeks now and i really like it. it looks like it's gonna take some time until more apps are using the touchbar though; it works great for safari, but chrome doesn't use it; garageband uses it quite effectively, as does itunes. I haven't really played around much with customizing it but while i thought it might be a bit gimmicky at first, i'm starting to really come around to it and think it's a good addition, once more apps use it, that is. as for the battery, i wasn't aware there were problems, but i have noticed it doesn't last quite as long as expected (i typically have OneNote, several internet tabs, and music streaming going, but maybe that's more intensive than i think it is).

 

Does anyone know where you can buy the kind of microfiber cloth that comes with Macbooks? I've gotten a few different kinds but none are the quite same kind as Apple. Apple's works so well on my glasses and camera lens but I'm getting sick of forgetting where I had it last.

Urg updated to 10.2 and now Apple Music and Touch ID won't work on my phone (6s).

It just has zero music on Apple Music at all - even though it thinks I still have the 33 gb of music that I had downloaded to my phone from Apple Music...

And in miraculous fashion, music is working again phew.

Touch ID is still not which is more annoying than I thought it would be.
