The idea of what third party dev can do with the touch bar is way more exciting than what they're showing with it, which worries me because he hasn't actually said it's open to third parties yet

 

I have the 13'' model for work and it's the nicest laptop I have ever used.

they said something about allowing developers being able to add new capability to it, that's what i assumed at least

 

Yeah, looks like I'm getting one of those HyperDrive USB hubs for my laptop. Ugh.

 

I'm way more okay with only having Thunderbolt 3 ports with 4 of them, my main complaint with the one USB-C port on the MacBook was that it was just one port

I'm going to go try one out ASAP but man I hate that they changed the switch type on the keyboard, I don't want my laptop to be 2.5mm thinner if that means the keyboard blows

 

The 7th gen Intel CPU's have been out for a while...

 

So basically the Air is all gone? But yeah I don't care about mild thinness if the keyboard is only inferior.
Oh and I wonder when Apple will sell a full size USB keyboard with a Touch Bar.

Getting rid of the MacBook air kind of sucks... I want one of these bad but dont have the $$$. Maybe I'll just get a 2015 Macbook Pro?

Alright...I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be but there's some cool things. I like the 4 ports, makes it much more functional.

Pricing: $1499 and up for 13-inch MacBook Pro with function keys. $1799 and up for 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. $2399 and up for 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.

 

and the old ones are $1299, but smaller storage, but better processing unless you go to the next level?
