Should my wife's iCloud back up (10GB) be estimated to take 13 hours to restore on her 7? 75mbps on our internet, but could it be Apple's servers sucking it up today?

 

On Apple Music, is there a way to select one track in order to access more settings without having to actually play the song first and pause it? Looking for the ... on an individual track.

Also, I've noticed when you toggle your keyboard from letters to numbers, it doesn't automatically swap back over to letters like it used to. Can that be adjusted?

I've noticed a huge difference in the length the iPhone7 holds a battery compared to the 6. Even the charge time is greatly reduced.

 

Can you not hide predictive text on the keyboard anymore?

 

There's a toggle for it in settings. Makes more sense than the swipe up/down, which I was always accidentally doing.

 

Hold down on the emoji icon, then deselect predictive text.

It's been months and the Apple keyboard us still so bad at auto correct for me. It just autocorrected the word bus to bud three times in a row. I guess I'm just gonna try a third party keyboard.

 

Just found out my phone is coming on Tuesday...happened to notice the payment finally went through when checking my bank account last night, so I logged into My Verizon and I had tracking info...would have been nice to receive an email or something...is there any way to get UPS to preemptively divert it to a facility, or do they have to make a first delivery attempt first? Doubtful anyone will be home to sign for it..

 

Mine from Verizon came fedex. And It wouldn't let me change it to a facility. Signature required.

 

That's a bummer..I guess if it comes down to it I can just take a personal day..haha

I ordered my 7 on the 10th, and I can't remember when the expected ship date was. It's with Sprint, and I currently have Verizon so I don't have a way to track it I think?

 

No one would have been home to sign and it's all good cause I scheduled an extra treatment for Saturday :)

 

I was at a point where I needed to fully do a fresh OS install on my Windows PC, so I backed up my music from my iTunes before that happened. So I have all that still. However, I didn't backup my iTunes Library Database file so now my years and years of play counts are gone. I so totally thought it saved that data on the file itself. I don't think that data is here in these source files. I did it correctly the last time I migrated PCs. But nope, not this time. I've got LAST.fm, but it's not quite the same.

I'm very distraught right now over this.

I don't actually look at the play counts but maybe a couple times a year, but WHEN I do, I like knowing these things. Now I'll never know how many times I've listened to Motion City Soundtracks "The Weakends".

(At least my computer runs better.....)


(I've got a database file from almost exactly a year ago. Can I load that in and it all still work?)

But if you have added new music over the last year, wouldn't that not all equal up?

 

I don't have an answer, but I find this interesting, because when I convert songs in iTunes, they still maintain their play counts.

 

I'm trying some things currently to see if I can get them to show up.

Yeah everything I've played since then, I think, would be off technically(if this idea works), but if that's my only option to salvage it, it will have to do.

I'm now loading in all my music again into iTunes then seeing if I can merge in this old xml file and pray.
