It's a server for you to watch movies stored on your computer on other devices.

I have Plex on my Mac and when I download a movie I just put it into my "movies" folder and when I go to the Plex app on my AppleTV, I can watch all of the movies that are in my folder.

It works for TV shows as well. My favorite part of Plex is how organized it is. As soon as a movie or TV show is in your folder, Plex is able to give it a full detail description along with actors, directors, and a section of posters. It even has been able to notice foreign films and foreign TV shows.

 

Where are you downloading movies from? That sounds interesting but I don't have much of that content on my computer these days.

 

Yes, but they don't pick up local fox sports stations. Which is the only reason my roommates and I are sticking with cable

Jet black scratches don't look good

 

I used to use KickassTorrents but it was shut down so I don't really download them much because I don't trust any other torrents sites.

I also got a portable blu ray drive for around $80 at Best Buy and was able to rip all of my blu ray collection and store the movies on my computer. Now I just watch them on Plex and I have a lot of extra room on my shelf.

Yeah I'm now slightly regretting that choice... Oh well I'll deal with it!

Still not worried about the jet black that much. Over time, I'll like the 'weathered' look. I had the iPhone 5 in slate, and it was horrible about scratches, and it didn't bother me. It actually gave that phone some character imo.

That looks like pretty obvious intent to test how bad the jet black scratches.

When does iOS 10 officially come out? I thought it was today but my phone says it's up to date.

My 6 Plus is acting really funky this morning, and my wife's 6.

App Store is also not working.

 

Got the tracking number for my iPhone 7.

 

App Store isn't working for me either. Just tried to get those Mario stickers hah.

 

I wonder if the App Store issues are related to the release of iOS 10 in just over an hour.

 

No tracking yet for me. Not expecting it for another week or so.

 

iOS 10 just showed up in my phone. 12pm CST on the dot.

 

The update appeared on mine as well. 4 hours remaining for the download....pretty excited.
