No clue why One OK Rock are in the Breakthrough Band category. They're definitely winning that one.

 

Since Teppei is nominated it gives my slight hope that maybe Thrice will be attendance and possibly play. But I'm not holding my breathe.

Imagine voting for literally anyone but Aric Improta for Best Drummer. I'm already pissed he's not going to win because Night Verses aren't as popular

 

How the fuck do they even get some of these nominees? Wasn't that Tonight Alive album kinda widely disliked?

 

I can't believe that Panic! At The Disco isn't up for album.

 

It's basically a popularity contest disguised as an awards show.

 

Why did FOB get a Band of the Year nomination? Have they even done anything in the past year?

 

Well yes, that is sort of the point of fan-voted awards.

 

How is Travis Barker not nominated for best drummer?

 

He's never been nominated. I guess it's too much of a given that he'd win and what's the point?

 

Yeah, Travis would be more of a lifetime achievement at this point.

 

I was so confused going through these nomonies. Only category where all the nominees made sense to me was Best Guitarist.

 

So stoked to see John'O from The Maine nominated for Best Vocalist!

 

I like nothing from this. Last year was fun. This year - no thanks.

 

These performances are atrocious. The mixing is horrendous.

 

This is the cringiest thing I've ever watched. hahahaha

 

This is so weird. I just tuned in when they announced the music video award...what happened? That was the strangest thing.

 

This was a hugeeeee downgrade in space compared to the place it was supposed to be at, probably won't see another apmas after this

 

These were a terrible mess tbh but my friend Cassie won the Hopeless/Sub City charity grant for her non-profit Half Access which everyone should check out!

 

Loved seeing this earlier! She's probably the sweetest person in Portland

I was there and this was the messiest they have ever been. All Time Low didn't even want to perform because AP told them last minute that they were going first. They had the artists in the balcony area instead of on the floor and there were so many empty seats in the balcony that my friends and I ended up moving down and sitting with the artists. I probably won't go again unless I'm going for free because nothing about the night was worth the $40 I paid. I did go to Emo Nite after and that was absolutely amazing, Frank Zummo & Adrian Young were there and did a drumming performance for all of us and Fil from Neck Deep did a DJ set.
