Same, day 7 player and I've never seen an heirloom, nor heirloom shards once they changed to that currency. I estimate I'm only at around 300/500 apex packs as well. Another 200 to go before I'm guaranteed heirloom shards.

 

yeah i have no idea how many packs i've opened. My friend one friend has all of them i think, but he paid for them basically through events

Yeah. I buy the battle passes, but that's about it. I'm trying to save the gold earned from this battlepass so i don't keep having to spend money out of pocket, i just tend to spend it on leveling up the current pass too often

Pretty underwhelming, yeah... the changes to World's Edge were pretty solid though.

 

Definitely, but KC used to be better, or at least parts of it. Also in my opinion KC is now too small and WE is too big.

I love the Volt though.

 

Volt is awesome, agreed, and Season 0 Kings Canyon was still the best, as far as maps go, IMO... felt perfect.

I just remember squading up with decent players and just staying on the push the entire match and if you were aggressive, you’d steamroll your way to the W. Now there’s just so much passive/campy gameplay, the SBMM is dialed way up...

The meta is totally different now and I’m not the biggest fan of it.

 

Yeah I kinda agree with that, though Ranked and Regular are pretty different. I also like Duos. The thing I do like about KC compared to S0 are the charge towers. I mostly play Loba so they’re amazing.

 

i miss the R99 so much

 

I’ve been really into this season, although I think I played too much Flashpoint for my mental health to get those challenges done

 

I haven't played any Flashpoint beyond the first time I went down. I can't take it.

I love KC After Dark and Always Be Closing though.

 

It became my go-to after a long time of me not believing the hype and then they took it away

 

Any time i see a neutral care package i run to it in the hopes that it has an R99. A peacekeeper is a decent second option, since any time i get one since it's been put into the care packages, i've literally won the match.

 

I still play this all the time, I'm addicted lol. I love the current version of KC. And I've always liked WE, but the additions they made are awesome.

 

I prefer WE right now, because with all the current changes to KC, i feel the map is too small -- for my play style. if i was more aggressive, i'd probably like it more.

 

I still prefer KC cause WE is depressing somehow but yeah KC is definitely too small now

 

Interesting way to describe it. In how much of the buildings are crumbling messes and the earth is cracked? just curious, if you can find a way to explain why you find it depressing.

 

I concur with all the sentiments that KC feels much too cramped. Can't land anywhere without fighting for loot. And I can't really explain why, but season 6 has made the game feel a bit "off" for me. But I'm not even sure what's lacking or what I'd fix.

 

Yeah that’s part of it, though KC now has destroyed towns too. I think the colors have a lot to do with it too. KC is just a little more cheerful.
