We're talking about a game with no fall damage lets drop the logic nonsense.

I played one game last night and my team just powered our way to a win. I had 5 kills and our team had 15 total. Didn’t go down once. Now I just need a caustic victory and I get that sweet sweet trophy.

 

Hitting a downed opponent should be like 4 hits. Especially early game, if you have to punch someone down and don’t have time to finisher them, and don’t have a gun, you shouldn’t have to decide between letting them get revived by their squad possibly or spend 20 seconds punching them, especially if your squad mates are also engaged. I’m sure they can find some way to balance it properly. I’m fine with it staying how it is for now, but there is definitely room for improvement, and I don’t think changing that one thing is going to have an impact on the game at large.

Personally I don’t think I’ve ever ran into a rando who was completely separated from their squad. Usually it is either we squad wipe, or we get squad wiped lol

 

That's completely dependent on the type of game. You shouldn't just make a blanket statement on the whole media. Some games developers go out of their way to make their games as realistic as possible. I doubt you're saying we should abandon logic all together, but it should absolutely be a viable point of discussion.

He absolutely did not. "I don't want to waste my bullets" is his choice, not a game design error. Saying "it's clunky" doesn't offer a solution.

This game isn’t though. But if you want I can logic the fuck out of it for you: the conceit of this game is that it’s kind of a sport or something, right? So there we have it, it’s obviously against the rules to shoot while down. Boom.

To be honest, Respawn not even having a targeted date to release info to the community is kind of odd. You put out a statement because you felt you needed to clarify that nothing was coming today, yet you still remain super vague on when you'll even share information.

 

Will admit I'm getting cranky. Not even a date provided yet. A BP should have been ready ages ago.

I mean honestly, I care. It’s already hard enough to want to play because of the three man squads always being full. I don’t particularly care to grind solo if I’m grinding for nothing. It’s why I hadnt logged on in 8 days until last night. When I logged on... saw you already had a group of three and then logged right back off.

 

Man Buddy Adam and i are always looking for a third but we play at weird euro times unfortsh :/

I don’t get the grinding mindset in general. No challenges right now, why not just play to play?

Challenges make shit more of a chore

 

Idk that shit annoyed me on fortnite but that might have been the shitiness of the objectives of the challenges themselves

 

Going for the Apex Legend trophy has given me plenty of challenge plus it made me use all the legends and I discovered my love for my robot son Pathfinder.

 

I just wish more games would adopt a four man squad system. Four is a much better number than three.

 

Some people like to have an incentive beyond just playing to play. For some people, Challenges make the game more fun.
