If you stop playing a game that, uh, plays well because of cosmetics not coming out on time, you should stop playing games period lol

 

Those are not factual they are your (dumb and wrong) opinion. Their momentum is fine. You have a game sitting on your console right now that you were given for free with the promise of more content coming within the next twenty-four days and that's losing momentum?

For the record, also, again, because Dylan needs to misrepresent everything I'm saying, I'M not mad the battle pass isn't out yet. I haven't even played Apex in over a week. They can take all the time they need.

 

i wondered why we didn't have any battle pass info on Feb 28, I didn't complain we didn't have the battlepass.

I will too even though I'll mostly be playing Destiny 2 and The Division 2 going forward. It'll be nice to just have sitting there waiting for me.

 

A game I love to play use to do a really good system for free to get rewards and stuff but since the battle pass craze came along they switched to that.

Players have now found the battle pass gives out less rewards than the old system and also it costs money now so nah screw them.

 

Thats the problem though...that's not good for THEM. The way they sustain the game is people actually spending money. Right now people aren't... because their isn't very much content.

 

This is my take as well. I think simply saying "in the later half of March' would have quelled a lot of the annoyance we saw after 3/1 and avoided the community over-hyping itself into a fake date.

 

If I'm Respawn....

1. I know the battlepass system works, so I get it ready to go in advance.
2. I look at our biggest competitor, Fortnite, and I see that they have a new season beginning the last Day of February.
3. I state that our battlepass will be out in March.
4. I release it Friday March 1st and I go right after our direct competition.

Like, this doesn't seem like that hard of a strategy for them to have planned better.

I love this game, but as soon as the new Fornite season started I went back and checked that out because I wanted some fresh content. Then I checked out the new Destiny content that came out this week. New content is King. That is just a fact.
