That went into my mindset as well, but late first round picks typically don't get traded for too much here...at least they haven't in past years. I'm not sure he's going to be able to move them for much, should he choose to do that.

I highly disagree to be honest, am not a fan of the reasoning at all for letting it pass, but I made my peace known. With this as the precedent, I can assure I will approve pretty much every trade from now on. The hammers been dropped, I'll move on and worry about my own squad.

I've already made it clear that most trades are going to be approved this year. The league is not/should not be ruled with an iron fist. The reason I've enlisted a select number of people to review trades is to ensure newer guys and some who just don't grasp the trade part of the game aren't getting taken to the cleaners---other than that, I don't really care too much what veterans who understand what they're doing do.

It shouldn't I agree with that. I just don't like him gifting 1st round picks away to another guy for nothing. He's helping another guy out a shit ton. I don't care about the deal from Kevin's perspective. None of this matters, he's still the best. He could easily have overpaid and got his man, not hurting his chances at all. This is far from that. It's not ruling with an iron first when you punish a man the whole town sees pulling someone into the streets, fucking him in the ass, and then slitting his throat. This trade wasn't even remotely close, which is my problem.

I get what you're saying but late first round picks aren't going to net him a top tier stud, in my opinion. Whoever he drafts with those picks are each going to need a few years of development (how many years will we play this year?). I acknowledge that Falcons guy wins this trade on the surface, but I just don't think he's going to get stud players like some here think.
