I haven't even like... kind of started forming a list haha. Not even something I try and think too much about until the end of the year, especially because the number I settle on is usually kind of arbitrary. I would say the following albums are likely all secured a spot somewhere on the list, in no particular order of course

    Pinegrove - Cardinal
The 1975 - I like it when you sleep
    Daughter - Not To Disappear
    Anderson .Paak - Malibu
Whitney - Light Upon The Lake
    Rihanna - ANTI
Tancred - Out Of The Garden
DIIV - Is The Is Are
    Wet - Don't You
Polyenso - Pure In The Plastic
    Porches - Pool
    Saosin - Along The Shadow
Thrice - To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere
Chance The Rapper - Coloring Book

Need to spend more time with PUP, Tim Hecker, M83, O'Brother, BADBADNOTGOOD, Mitski, David Bazan, Cassino

I like lists like these because it's a picture of how you feel now about music. It could change by the end of the year but there's still a placement of where things are going with it.

Not even gonna wait until we actually get halfway through the year before doing this? Wasn't even considering doing this until the last third of June lol
This is like all the publications that drop year end lists in like early December before the inevitable Beyoncé drop happens

For sure man, not hating on your thread. Only speaking for myself! Probably not a bad idea to get this kind of thing going before the mid year lists really start to roll in. Gives people a chance to review some stuff that got lost in the flurry of bigger releases. There's a lot of stuff on your list I haven't heard of at all that I'll have to check out at some point.
