Sweet Soul and Somerset Thrower would be worth checking out too. Sweet Soul is more catchy pop punk, but both are hardcore folks that are not making hardcore music.
Digging this enough that I might make the trip down to Bloomington to see them on the Knuckle Puck tour.
The album's good. Kinda wished it had more of the hardcore lean like Never Better and the 2019 Promo tracks, but it's definitely awesome regardless. I really dig the American Football vibes on the closer too.
I've spun this a couple times through and so far it has done nothing for me - sounds like a boring title fight rip-off band from 2012. I feel like I can echo the sentiment of not perceiving any hooks on this record. I don't know though - I'm often wrong, so I'll keep spinning it to see if something clicks.
Per 100 Words or Less, Grady said he is no longer playing in OSC bc their tour schedules are too overlapping. I’d imagine it’s the same for Ryan and that he will no longer be playing in Anxious.
oh dang. yeah I was wondering how both of those bands had tours coming up at relatively the same time (Knuckle Puck/Drug Church) Guess it made sense to share members during quarantine
