"Head & Spine" reminds me so much of WYWTB-era TBS with like a little bit of early FYS thrown in. Love that track.

 

loving the tone of this album. production is top notch.

 

The kind of album I would have absolutely just lived off back in high school. I love that there are still bands doing this.

 

Felt that way about Little Green House, it’s an album that takes me back to late high school/early college. I can envision myself walking to class freshman year while it plays on my headphones. Very excited to hear this tomorrow.

I can definitely hear the Armor For Sleep influence on a bunch of these songs.

 

This is so good.

 

One and half listens in and this is AOTY contender for sure. Honestly feel like they shine the most on the slower songs. But yeah it’s going to be hard to beat counting sheep.

 

End of Bambi's Theme was fantastic, got a feeling this is a special one.

Loved the first half of this that I listened to this morning

 

I wish there was one more song like Counting Sheep but this is a huge step up for them. Only a couple of songs haven’t hit immediately after two listens, really looking forward to letting it sink in more this weekend. I can totally hear all the influences they mention and absolutely love all the acoustic guitar, it gives the album a really nice sense of warmth.

 

That propulsive riff is Jacy is so cool, I love it

 

yeah agreed. Was hoping for one more HUGE BANGER but I do think they have a really special ability to do more melodic music that a lot of bands in the scene can’t do. Excited by the record for sure

 

I think more so than Jacy, Next Big Star is the late album highlight for me.

 

def an AOTY contender for sure.
