Not the kind of music I seek out anymore but I really like this track, awesome hook

 

This is kind of what I was expecting Microwave to end up like when I first was following their progression

 

This is HUGE, love this song a lot.

Yeah this rocks. They remind me a lot of mid era Basement, where they have a lot of Jimmy Eat World influence but retain a bit more aggression.

The chorus is killer, too.

 

This band makes me feel young

 

Agreed, immediately sends me back to 2011. Love this track, I can definitely hear the Jimmy Eat World comparisons.

 

Song is great, maybe immediately my favorite thing I’ve heard from them

 

That drum fill and the doo doo's between the first chorus and the second verse GAHHH DAMN

 

I've always thought if they could figure out how to write a good hook they'd be huge. I think they figured it out.

They were good/ok but this is undeniably a step up in that department

album reminds me of one step closer's album this year; really liked what they did before, but then this one takes it up a notch

 

Is there still some heavier stuff?

 

Honestly, the Jimmy, or Early November comps aren't bad ... it's very much that kind of rock 'n roll with melody

"head and spine" leans into it a little more - little koyo sounding; but not really what i'd call "heavy"

 

That One Step Closer record is fantastic, so that comparison has got me pretty excited.

 

This record is v good - perfect follow up to little green house

 

Like I really liked LGH but the first track on this one blows out every song on that one

 

I’d say that about Counting Sheep tbh
