Cloud Nothings Single Mothers Now, Now Paramore Thursday Interested in that new System of a Down album lol
Really looking forward to the new Paramore. Ed Sheeran as well, surprisingly. I'm hearing some really good things about his upcoming album.
Names I don't remember seeing that I'm excited about: London Grammar SOHN Colony House Sylvan Esso Hurray for the Riff Raff King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Laura Marling Temples
I think this is finally the year. Not sure if this means anything, but sometime last year they added to their twitter bio that they were in the studio recording a new album, and now it's not there anymore. So I'm assuming that something's actually done and almost ready for release.
I'm not into her sound at all so I don't like either of her releases but she seems to be gaining some attention from Tancred so good for her.
True. I dug the first album quite a bit. I've been missing some Tegan & Sara-esque music and haven't really come across anything since 2012 or 2013. An Horse was another band that I used to fill that void.

Although I feel like 2017 is going to be less about the artists I already know and more about discovering new ones, I am anticipating: Brand New (duh) Manchester Orchestra Modest Mouse Paramore Sigur Rós Arctic Monkeys I'm also curious about Los Campesinos, Japandroids, LCD Soundsystem and Gorillaz. And I hope we get new music from The Wonder Years, The Front Bottoms, MF Doom, Kendrick Lamar and The Mountain Goats.
