Sorority Noise Lemuria Spirit of the Beehive PWR BTTM (digging those summer singles) Power Trip Code Orange if that doesn't come out this year Turnstile? What are the Sidekicks up to?
Andrew McMahon, Bruce (if that doesn't come out this year), Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, and Noah Gundersen are probably my top five. Mostly assuming on the last three.
2016 is just dumping a truckload of albums from bands I love, so I haven't even been able to wrap my head around 2017 yet. I guess I'll point out that we'll likely be getting a Spring/Summer New Found Glory album.
The National LCD Soundsystem Gorillaz Broken Social Scene Something Kanye? Saves the Day? Brand New (lol) Feel like I don't even know what to expect next year with so many of my favorite artists releasing something this year
Wolves at the Gate. The 2 songs they've put out have been awesome. Also Story of the Year. And it's next month, but Metallica please.
Justin Timberlake, Knuckle Puck, PVRIS, Fall Out Boy, The Wonder Years, Tyler the Creator, State Champs, Earl Sweatshirt, Citizen, Sorority Noise, The Story So Far, Turnover, Title Fight, New Found Glory, Tigers Jaw, Taylor Swift
Pianos become the teeth Prawn Moving mountains (long shot) And my ridiculous wish every year Thursday Also Friends in America and menzingers if they don't drop in 16
Nice to see Sinai Vessel on here, love those guys. That album is sure to be wonderful. Would love to get new TEN next year, but I'm not exactly confident that's gonna happen. Certainly hope they have another one in them though.
Yep! Super excited for that one. Also, my guess for TEN is that it would be later or towards the end of 2017, but given that they've never released consecutive albums in less than a three year period, it's doubtful. With that being said, In Currents and Imbue are both super great records and I think a further exploration of the sound could lead to another phenomenal album. Not sure why Imbue didn't carry the same type of steam that In Currents did (although I say that and Narrow Mouth has 2M+ plays on Spotify and is their number one song).
Brand New (obvi) Taylor Swift (though she could just drop it before the year is out here in 2016) Thrice (I think we could see this nearer to the end of next year. Unlike their Brand New brethren, they're efficient in the studio) Manchester Orchestra (I really enjoyed Cope) mewithoutYou (I could see this happening too) Everything came out this year.
Portugal. The Man Run The Jewels 3 Margot & The Nuclear So & So's Brand New The Republic Of Wolves Manchester Orchestra The Shins Sea Wolf Said The Whale Zack De La Rocha P.O.S. Where did you here about the deer tick album? I've been looking for an announcement for a while as to what they were up to. A double album makes sense though as this is easily the longest break they have ever taken between albums.
It's from the beginning of this year. I just went through my entire itunes and looked up bands that haven't released anything in a couple years and I found this. What makes a Deer Tick? John McCauley talks new instruments, parenthood and his band's upcoming acoustic tour - Little Village
