At least Marvel is taking the correct steps with The Marvels

Orignally set for release at the end of July, Disney has instead given that late summer release slot to Justin Simien’s “Haunted Mansion,” moving “The Marvels” to Nov. 10 to give more time for post-production to complete, according to studio insiders.

 

I really hope them churning out less content will lead to better things in the future. Between the news of all the grind for digital artists between the shows, whatever happened with “Love and Thunder” and this, it sounds like a nightmare and is reflecting in the product.

 

From what I've heard Chapek was wanting more content. Iger came back and started calling for less content. I always thought Feige had the power to call the number of shots. Guess not.

 

I really, really hope The Marvels is good

 

Well they cut like 75% of his screen time so could’ve been worse lol

 

I wondered about this. I thought he was supposed to have a major role, so when I saw the movie, I was like "That was it?"

Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

Thought it was pretty alright, it felt very all over the place but I was entertained. Majors killed it fo sho. I think I also gotta rewatch Loki too lol

I did not see Loki before this and I will not be seeing it after this lol

Worth seeing this in theater?

 

If you really value the theatrical experience and want to be a part of the current conversation when an MCU movie comes out then yes

Otherwise probably not

 

Loki was the best MCU show

 

after effects of the midwest winter storm this week hasn't helped either, roads are still pretty questionable here. saw it last night at 6:30 and there was maybe 10 people in it. I think people here are still just chillin at home for most the weekend

 

If I don't like the movies enough to keep up, there's just no way I'm watching a whole show. I love Star Wars way more than the MCU, and I don't even watch Star Wars shows. Just too much for me.
