Not good, but I loved Majors.

 

So I brought this up in the MCU thread, but I can talk about this freely here with no spoiler tags, so...

I'm wondering if The Kang Dynasty is going to focus on Kang in the same way that Infinity War focused on Thanos, and by that I mean there were several questions raised in this movie that were very deliberately not answered.

I don't just mean Kang's warning about what's coming, but he also hinted that he's lost a lot as a result of what he's experienced, and we don't get to find out about any of it.

Also, and this might just be a separate issue, but when Scott originally asks Kang to honor his deal about letting Cassie go, Kang responds "She'll be better off without you". Did he just say that because he expected Scott to die? Or did he say that because he intended to keep her for some reason? Maybe I'm thinking too hard about this one.

It’s unclear, but I think Kang legitimately thought he’d never be able to make it back alive. My best guess is that line used to refer to something that was cut from the film but was just vague enough they didn’t bother to alter that line. We shall see if deleted scenes vindicate my theory down the road.

 

I liked it more than Wakanda Forever and Thor 4, of that tells you anything

It's around $18 for evening showtimes of dolby/imax, I think for $14 for standard

cheaper before 4 PM

@JoshIsMediocre you are off the hook, we left ten minutes into the movie because the person closest to us fucking took his shoes off and his feet smelled like mold, and there were two kids (probably 12-13ish) who wouldn’t shut the fuck up in the way back. So we got refunded and left lol

I had people behind me who brought their kids aged 1-3 to the Thursday night 9pm showing, I was pissed. Luckily it was IMAX so I could barely hear them but I was like “wtf”

 

There were kids just wandering around the theater for a good part of my showing. Maybe that's why I disliked it so much...

 

when I saw wakanda forever there was this same group of teenagers who would come and go every 15 minutes, made it pretty hard to concentrate on watching the movie. I’m just starting to think maybe marvel crowds annoy me lol

 

it's always like why bother paying $20 if you're gonna act like that haha, like it doesn't seem fun

thankfully crowd for this wasn't too bad
