I like most marvel movies, but woof. I thought this was pretty bad.

There was for sure some "comedy" that only a Rick & Morty writer could have written.

I always say find critics or a publication that you trust and go off of that. There should be way more nuance than Fresh or Rotten.

I wish you could “follow” critics on RT. There are plenty I like and some I often read even when I disagree with them, and if RT let people compile critics and get a personal RT score of the critics they follow, that would probably align closer to their taste.

This is very fun and washes a little of the bad taste of Strange 2/Thor 4 away.

Certainly the most fun I’ve recently had in a Marvel film and one could argue that’s the main appeal of Ant-Man films, although, this has a tad bit of doom fused into it. Exploring the quantum realm and its inhabitants was a good time.

The reactions to this are all over the place. Very curious to see what it has in store for me when I see it.

This was good, def got a little boring in spots but it was cool. Felt more like a movie taking place in a Star Wars universe than Marvel.

Letterboxd is great at this. You don’t get the score, but you see each critics rating.

Rama-tut Kang looked goofy. Like someone dressing up for a Halloween party. It’s an end credit scene so I’m sure the costume quality will be far better in Kang Dynasty, but still

It is weird how bad that Egyptian costume looked.

Also, they did Michelle dirty with that wig, the lace was exposed the whole time. How does someone in editing not catch that?!

I thought this was fine for the most part. Majors was obviously the standout. I’d put it right on par with Love and Thunder, which is right above Multiverse of Madness for me. Not great, not horrible.

Post credit was far better than the mid credits, and not nearly as goofy.

This was fine. I guess. Dragged at times. Whatever. Haha

it just didn’t do much for me.

Well now it kinda makes sense why the mouse decided to allocate more resources to this than Strange World - conspiracy hat

The marketing for Strange World was very, weird and so remember seeing convos here about it. But the visuals in the quantum realm really reminded me of Strange World, so my theory is that Disney didn’t want to promote Strange World as strongly as they could have, because they wanted Quantummania to have the sole conversation around being the “trippy” Marvel/Disney flick

Surprisingly, this film was more “trippy” than Multiverse of Madness. That’s bizarre.

This is definitely better than the RT score. I enjoyed this more than Black Widow, Eternals, MoM, and L&T. The humor landed with me. Wasp is definitely sidelined for much of it. Should be called Ant-Man and Cassie: Quantumania.

Kang rules. Excited to see more versions of him.

For the most part, this was not sadly not true. Too bad we don’t get any Marvel property that deals with the lost time in The Snap in any meaningful way.
