you learn something new every day, I've always felt like my Dell computer isn't cool sorry for doubting you buddy
I enjoyed this a lot! I went with my mom and youngest sister and it was a great way to spend an afternoon. It's ideal summer entertainment.
Didn’t like this one at all. The story was a mess and the jokes most of the time were just trying too hard for me.
Strange. It wasn't the best but it wasn't that bad. It's not like it was Age Of Ultron or Thor 1 or anything.
Just saw this last night and really enjoyed it! I didn't expect any kind of incredible journey, but I thought it was pretty funny and made some nice moves to open up the MCU a little more. I thought the whole quantum connection of Scott and Janet was a sweet and funny dynamic that led to a nice moment of Hank and Janet reuniting. A nice improvement from the first one that just seems like it'll be one of the best to rewatch for the laughs. One thing I was thinking was that Pfeiffer would bit more serious, but I thought they really nailed Janet. Pfeiffer did a great job. I hope we definitely get a third movie with some more of Janet/Hank and a cheerier Hope acting a little more like her mom.
Plus Ava is one of the few WOC in the MCU, and there's a less than zero chance that if they recast they'd go with a White actress, I was about to say the only one but duh Gamora and Mantis, plus Asian Americans Tilda Swinton and Scarlett Johansson
Hannah has been a solid actor, especially with the roles she's had this year. If anything, the script for Ava might've held her back. However, I thought she did a great job in conveying a good mix of the frustration of losing her parents, pain from her condition and having a little mad streak like Hank/Bill.
Even if her character wasn't incredibly well written, she has a lot of potential and she did a good job acting with the script she was given. I'd rather see them take a stab at making her a more integral addition to the MCU instead of recasting her which is just a pointless suggestion.
Saw this earlier today and loved it. Not my favorite but lots of fun and a nice follow up to Infinity War. Anyone else think some of the Luis lines were slightly ham fisted though? Most were great but some felt like “Ok people liked this guy from the first one, so let’s turn it up a bit more and see what happens”.
I though most of the characters in this were seriously underwritten. Having two villains was a huge detriment. It felt like maybe the idea was just to go with Goggins and Marvel said they needed someone with powers or something.
