For me it's the falsetto and the R&B-esque melodies that are pretty unexpected throughout some of the songs. First band I thought of when I heard them, but they're definitely doing their own thing.

 

Technically I didn’t mention them, hence the [redacted]. To answer the question though, because I thought they sounded alike. That’s all

I for one am looking forward to the record. Guy has a great voice and I love the vibe of the singles they've released thus far.

 

Yeah I don’t like pre-ordering stuff I haven’t heard anymore really cause I’ve felt burned a few times, but this was an immediate purchase for me. Can’t see how I won’t love this

 

Also post pandemic if you ever get the chance to see them live they are very good!

 

Oh wow yeah I'm just now remembering that I did see these guys, with Beach Bunny. I like both of the new songs more than anything I remember hearing them playing at that show

this is a super pleasant listen. big pop has some unexpected county vibes and it rules

this record sometimes reminds me of Dog Problems or if the Format had gone in a mellower direction next

Big Pop is great. Very excited for this record!

 

Big Pop comes off as a cross between Hellogoodbye and Aim and Ignite's Fun.

Looks like Row is on streaming now, probably tied with I Know You’re Wrong as my second favorite behind New Music.
