I can't believe you just bumped this thread.

I had fucked up dreams last night, some pretty dark and violent stuff, but one part was a giant feline-like creature that evaporated someone's soul into sand while making crazy feline growl sounds and then disappeared. After that, a woman who didn't help me earlier in the dream couldn't speak without having those same sounds come out as she spoke and started freaking out.

It reminded me of the bear creature scene in this movie.

That's fucked.

I feel like this movie cams out so long ago. Can’t believe it was this year.

 

Finally watching this and I LOVE IT. Totally bananas and just stunning. Can’t wait to read the whole discussion. Just wish I had been able to see it in theaters for the full visual experience.

weird that it’s coming to Hulu after releasing on Netflix internationally.

 

This was my favorite film of the year. Followed by Roma, and Hereditary.

 

The sound design of the scene at the lighthouse was my favorite of the year. Definitely need to let this sit a bit because I’m not sure if I “get” it, but this was great. Garland is going to be a auteur for sure
