Yea, saw this awhile ago but never searched out the thread. I hated it. Felt like it would never end.

 

If this is anyone’s first Carax, don’t let it turn you off. He’s usually brilliant, Holy Motors and Mauvais Sang are masterpieces

 

Annette is also great.

 

This was my 2nd favorite film of last year, really great stuff

 

There was a lot I really liked, particularly in the first 45-60 minutes, but as a whole I wasn’t as enamored as I usually am by Carax

 

It was the best baby of 2021.

I will be honest, though. I have seen a few clips of I Think You Should Leave. Some were very funny, but he curses too much.

When I saw Sparks last summer, they opened with So May We Start, which was a ton of fun.

 

I've started this 3 times now and just have not been in the right mood for it. Make it to the comedy show scene and shut it off
