I've been playing a lot of Taiko Drum N Fun on Switch and playing the Bakemonogatari theme song on there
uhhh let's see for 2020 so far Completed: Bakemonogatari My Hero Academia Season 4 Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! Dr. Stone Beastars (dub on Netflix after having watched the sub on Japan release last year) Started: Watamote Somali and the Forest Spirit Digimon Adventure 2020 Tower of God Listeners BNA (only first 6 episodes are out on Netflix Japan right now but I couldn't help myself) Going to start: Gleipnir I think that's all so far?
I’m almost done with season 1 of food wars and it only took two days. I think I could probably finish this in a week if I try.
Good thing I've long since stopped expecting Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 to ever arrive. It'll be a pleasant surprise when it does, whenever that is.
i like the first arc covered in the third season, but i find everything after that to be a continous drop in quality
Wait. I got it all mixed up. I liked up until the end of Overhaul. After that it goes downhill in quality severely.
i was talking food wars. but i really liked the overhaul arc, and have enjoyed certain arcs after that (endeavor, class b, and villains arc) but really feel like the series is being way to slow with how it moves ahead with the story, it likes to test my patience. yeah i like the moon festival, i dont quite remember a plot twis but the introduction of azami was the moment that the series began to get progressively worse for me. by the time that whole thing reaches its climax (which i think the third season covers) its an absolute shitshow, and i dont even wanna think abou the final arc.
Overhaul was eh for me personally. The ending was damn good though. The festival and the YouTuber was pretty fun. Hawks/Endeavor was all hype. I already hate azami and he was just introduced I also hated that Eizan or whatever his name is that is in the elite 10 and I know he’ll probably be more prominent during this arc
Nah. It takes a serious hit after overhaul. The people directing the show took it in a wildly different direction and the art is all over the place. I heard it was because a lot of people were working on the movie at that time, so if that's true, I could believe it. They changed the whole style of the characters and the humor, it was weird.
Food Wars. I actually stopped when they introduced Azami. I was so pissed at how they handled it. Just forcing it into the show. But after a break, I gave it another shot and although he's still a giant douche, I really like how they give Erina a character arc and have her stand up for herself and face some pretty shitty childhood trauma. I haven't watched any of this season though.
The people working on the movie would have been during the Overhaul arc since it was first so I'm not sure how you're getting that logic but anyways Culture Festival great Jiro great girl Gentle great gentleman
Also, I just looked it up. They were in fact working on the movie AND the show at the same time for season 4. On top of that, animators had left to work on Fire Force and they also lost Yoshihiko Umakoshi who was the chief animation director. The whole show was just put on constraints.
I will say that someone pointed out it was not the studios decision to work on both at the same time.
