Giant giant sale on Sentai filmworks website. The food wars limited edition bento box Blu-ray set that's normally $200 is like $39.99
Been trying to get back on my anime A-game. Finished Dr. Stone, watched the first episodes of Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken and Somali and the Forest Spirit, and just watched Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel Part 1. All good good times.
And now I've watched Heaven's Feel Part 2. Damn that movie is wild, one of the coolest fight scenes I've seen in an anime in quite some time.
Legit gonna try to see it in theaters if Part 2 is anything to go by, and the preview looked cool too
I just saw it yesterday too. I really liked it, but it kinda felt like he was reusing a lot of the same beats from Your Name. That being said, damn does it work though.
I also watched that first episode of Eizouken. It feels unique in comparison to many series pumped out as of late. No doubt Masaaki Yuasa directing helps push it in that direction.
It's been a while since I've really watched much anime, just a series here and there throughout the year. I saw Weathering With You at my local theater last night and am watching Ni No Kuni on Netflix now, makes me miss watching a ton of anime. What are some must watch/underrated anime that I need to check out?
I watched weathering with you and I thought it was ok to good. I think I give it like a 6/7 but apparently from reading around the internet the dub is surprisingly good so I may end up watching it again because I watched subbed.
I watched dubbed because the theater near me was sold out for the sub, but I thought the dub was really well done. Was definitely weird hearing Allison Brie in anime though.
Just finished Volume 12 of Beastars and it just keeps getting better. The art has improved a ton and the world/characters just become more and more interesting. Really love it.
