jump app has been an incredible thing, im caught up with almost everything in the actual magazine and making my way through some other stuff. haikyu is absolutely incredible, tense matches but most importantly phenomenally written characters that feel like real people. i know its a super weird comparison but in some ways it reminds me of persona with lots of great and realistic character story stuff divided by more dynamic action moments (though it is volleyball rather than shonen action). idk reading it gives me a feeling i hadnt felt since i played persona 4, weird.
Even if they were close enough to show that this season, the only way to end the Monster Association arc is Saitama vs. Garou
What sucks about this season of Attack of Titan is that even with so much new info, the next season is going to have so much more. It naturally gives viewers the perception of "oh okay so we finally know everything now" when in reality it's only like half the story, like when Naruto fully explained the Akatsuki but had yet to barely even hint at Obito/Madara
I was off the past two days and rewatched Evangelion/End of Evangelion and that show holds up. Still got chills/felt super rough at times. I'm excited for the fourth movie of the rebuild even though 3.0 was fucking whacky. I need to rewatch them
Started reading Boruto today. Got about half way through what is available. Its fineeeee. I wasn't expecting the chapters to be so long, but I guess I'm not complaining.
i use it on the phone app but if any of you use the jump app on a browser you have access to golden kamuy which is the best ongoing manga (dontquoteme) and hell's paradise which is a phenomenal underrated series that i think a lost of people here would like.
None of the characters are too compelling and it feels like a rehash. "This is the story of Boruto!" : three chapter fight with Naruto:
Attack On Titan Anime To Run For Fourth And Final Season Beginning Fall 2020 It's been a polarising series but I think it will go down as one of the greats. I've managed to catch up in such a short space of time and it definitely has many mysteries and strengths. I'm moving onto The Promised Neverland next, is there a dub? My gf will only watch if it's dubbed (I know) but it's how we watched Made in Abyss.
AOT is so frustrating for me because I loved the first season but didn't care for most of season 2/3. There's still moments of greatness though and I hope it ends well.
Started Hunter X Hunter. The first ten episodes are a really slow burn. Around 11 I'm feeling a bit better about it. Hoping it hooks me in soon.
I wanted to do a re-watch of every anime show I’ve seen but I fear for the HxH one because there is a certain arc I can’t stand for fear of something.
yeah hxh starting off slow is definitely something i agree with. its still fun if youre into shonen but i can imagine itll make you question why people are so crazy over the show, but give it some time and youll definitely understand.
I still need to get through YYH, kinda lost interest in vol 4 or so. Want to go back because of how much I love HxH, lol.
It definitely peaks at the dark tournament. First and third arcs are kinda ehh. Last arc is pretty good tho.
