The Promised Neverland is tied with My Hero Academia for the best current Shounen manga imo.

I will also advocate for Promised Neverland, after the season ended I couldn't wait and started reading the manga and now I'm caught up. Super super cool stuff.

 

After watching today's One Punch Man, I decided to download the Shonen Jump app and catch up on the manga. I didn't realize how close it was to actually catching it. Love this arc. Can't wait to get through it all.

The app works great, for anyone who hasn't tried it yet. Really easy to read and take it all in.

 

I took a break from JJBA and I need to get back into it

 

Yeah I love the SJ app, I finally caught up with One Piece.

 

5 episodes of NGE left. Forgot how much I loved this show. Gonna have to watch the movie and the rebuilds after.

 

They're showing all three Rebuilds at AX, but I think one of them is during a panel I wanna go to hmmhmm

Rewatched the third one at AX last year, it's so good.

 

I still haven't seen any of the Rebuilds. Not sure why, I'll probably go through them when the last one comes out.

 

I like the rebuilds for cutting out all the bullshit.

 

I saw this regarding the weird Netflix translations of NGE. Taking it with a grain of salt as who knows how reliable the source is, but figured I’d share

 

Looking at the manga, I have no idea where they end this season of OPM. doesn't seem like there is a good stopping point coming up. Also, they are dangerously close to being caught up.

Maybe Saitama vs Orochi? I've no idea where the anime is but that would be a good finale.

 

I've seen the same kinda thing floating around and I'm pretty sure Khara dictated the changes, making it more literal and closer to the sub. I understand them not wanting the localization to take artistic liberties with it but it also leads to some weird phrasing like "third children" which just doesn't sound right. Other than that though I like the new dub, the overall quality of voice acting is so much better than the original dub version, nostalgia withstanding, most notably the side characters.

 

That's still pretty far out. Right now, the anime is at Garo vs. Genos. I don't feel like there are a lot of episodes left. That's still a ways off.

First season was twelve episodes and they just hit 24. Could be hitting the end.

 

Maybe with the big Centipede dude? lol

 

I think that is most likely. Its kind of a bummer because the stuff that comes right after that is all pretty awesome. Could definitely see the third series being the preparation and attack on Monster HQ.

 

Animation was a bit more on par this past episode of OPM so that was nice to see

Also yea I believe it's going with the usual 12 episode season so one more episode to go

 

Yeah, that's when it really starts getting awesome. It's so much fun.

 

Caught up with One Punch. Feels weird having to wait for manga again. After Bleach and Beelzebub wrapped, I haven't felt like I need to keep up with anything. Looks like Food Wars just wrapped, so I may give that a go. Loved the anime. May also do MHA. There is so much I want to dig into.

 

I still need to finish watching Mob Psycho S2 despite my mad love for the series
