Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is pretty good. It's basically kind of FMA in the sense that this kid, Tanjiro, trains and gets accepted as a demon hunter in order to find information on how to turn his sister back into a human after his family was slaughtered and she was corrupted. But it's also got some MHA vibes as well. The coolest part is the art style because it's solid, but then does some cool stuff during battles and with scenery. Here's an early (not really a spoiler) example:
Is it me or does it feel like dubs become more preferred with age? I can’t focus or sit down long enough to focus on subs for two hours.
I'm the opposite. I can't stand most dubs now although I tend to read manga rather than watch anime most of the time anyway so it doesn't really matter.
I usually opt for subs as well, though I haven't watched anime in a while. I stopped somewhere in the middle of AoT S3 and haven't started OPM S2 yet.
I still prefer subs, partly because you won't get dubs day 1 for most anime so if you want to watch something when it comes out you gotta sub. I'll watch dub for some shows, like MHA I watch both sub and dub because I just like it that much lol. I think the only show recently I only watched dub is Aggretsuko, I just really think they absolutely nailed the dub voice actors for it.
I think the only show I watched dub for a bit was MHA and that’s solely because all might sounded like the crimson chin.
There's a few that are good that I can't remember off the top. Cowboy Bebop has a solid dub. I remember Fullmetal Alchemist (maybe only the first series?) having a good dub as well.
Got through the first arc of Berserk. I forgot that is started hot and heavy before bouncing back to the Griffith intro. I found that whole arc a little boring the first time around. Hopefully I can breeze through it.
this arc of one punch man is great. so many heroes and villains and the typical martial arts tournament? I love it.
Me as a casual watcher: hey this second season of one punch man is pretty good. actual one punch fans: this STUDIO RUINED IT ALL
You inspired me to catch up on it because I was 2 episodes behind, I fuck with the actual content that's happening but the animation during intense scenes still looks not great, it's wild
just founf out stitch (from lilo & stitch) had an anime and one of the openings is done by the pillows, and its awesome
Happy birthday to me, thanks I hate it I love Taika but maaaaaaaaaaan I just don't think live action can do it justice
I think the re-edited version just takes the first 25 episodes, which is Parts 1 and 2, and makes it into 3 movies. I never watched it that way, I did it the regular way. The first 2 parts are so short that it does go by pretty fast, Part 1 especially is only 9 episodes I think. And I absolutely love Jojo so yay more Jojo watchers
Also it start off a little slow for some people so don't worry if you aren't like, 100% sure about it after the first couple of episodes. Part 2 especially really starts to ramp stuff up.
