I'm really enjoying Devilman Crybaby which is currently on Netflix.

 

I'd rate it highly, but I'm a big fan of Yuasa (the director). To echo DarkHotline, you'll know whether it's for you in the first 5-10 minutes. I'd only warn that it's about as graphic as exists in animation.

 

Devilman is fantastic

 

Halfway through season 1 of My Hero Academia. Why have I not watched this sooner!? This is actually really good.

 

So, uh, RWBY is really good.

 

I really liked Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice). Highly recommended.

 

starting watching land of the lustrous and really, really enjoying it so far. typically not a fan of CG anime but the beautiful art outshines occasionally wonky animation and the action scenes have been pretty great so far. i love the focus on world building so far, i'm fascinated by everything. soundtrack is great as well. can't wait to watch more.

 

Trying to knock out some of my queue - really just concentrating on finally finishing Konosuba S2 and catching up on The Ancient Magus Bride because I really want to start Violet Evergarden and Devilman Crybaby this weekend.

Very into the first episode of Darling in the Franxxx, looking forward to seeing where that show goes.

Also loved the first 5 episodes of Devilman Crybaby and Bakemonogatari.

 

Enjoyed the first ep of Franxx, going to check out more of the new series tomorrow.

I’ve loved A Place Further Than The Universe so far. I should check out Laid Back Camp too

 

Both of those shows set off my SOL spidey sense, but I'm following my usual procedure of not starting shows until they are close to ending. Definitely going to try Darling in the Franxxx as well.

While I haven't finished SQ, hearing that makes me interested in APFTTU.

Want to watch VE ep2 tonight, but might wait until the 1080 copy is out.

Contemplating going to see Mary and the Witch's Flower this weekend.

 

darling in the franxx went as expected, into the visuals but the story already seemed a little sloppy but decent at times. but i also just watched the first episode of devilman and i am floored, what a treat.

 

Ya I watched the first ep of Devilman too. It's wild.

 

Downloaded the Land of the Lustrous OST. So good.

 

Dragon Ball Super is ending this March, I'm so bummed =/

 

why in the world do the mechs from darling in the franxx have faces? its so offputing.
