A Girl on the Shore left me feeling sort of numb and empty, which I guess is kind of the point. I think I need to read it again.
Agreed. "left me feeling sort of numb and empty" fits my experience. If there was something beyond the darkness/cynicism, I didn't really pick up on it.
very solid picks! volume of 2 of land of the lustrous comes out next week so that should be reaching me soon. golden kamui actually got an anime adaptation announced not too long ago and land of the lustrous has one coming next season, excited for both of them.
This might be blasphemy, but I'm enjoying Cardcaptor Sakura way more than I ever have Sailor Moon *ducks*
Been watching the prequel episodes (2/3 out so far) of The Ancient Magus' Bride and they're gorgeous and charming. I haven't read the manga yet, but I think I will prior to watching the anime when it starts to air. Anyway, very taken with the first two episodes.
I randomly stumbled upon learning that akira is on hulu so I finally watched that. My first reaction after watching is that was interesting. I need to think about that a bit.
I thought the Naruto craze was over, why do I keep seeing stuff about his kid? How long is this new series supposed to be???
Hey guys, question about spoilers: if I were to mention time travel and list Steins;Gate, Madoka, and Higurashi in the same sentence, does that ruin the endings if you've only seen one or two but not the others?
Defo ruins Madoka but not Steins;Gate as it's introduced very early on. Can't speak for the other one as I haven't seen it. Hope that helps
