Yeah I was skeptical how they’d pull off a ~6 chapter adaptation in one ep but nearly all of it was action and cutting the intro helped. If anything they functionally redid all the interim action between the major moments

 

One of the best aspects of the Sendai fight is how, aside from maybe when Yuta gets hits hard by Kurourushi and right before he summons Rika, I don’t think there’s any big moment where he comes off as stressed or strained or tired. Like compare him to Yuji struggling to fight Higuruma or Megumi nearly dying from his fight with Reggie. At the end of all the chaos he couldn’t come off as more casual about it lol

 

I was so pumped when AIZO kicked in later on in the episode.

 

Watching Death Note for the first time with my bf (my first time not his) and call me crazy but I'm starting to think this Light character may not be such a good person

Anyone check out the Daemons of the Shadow Realm premiere? I read nothing about this going into it and would highly recommend that to anyone interested. The animation looked great out of the gate and the story went in directions I was not expecting. I’m definitely intrigued.

 

Cannot believe How Not To Summon A Demon Lord is getting a third season. Truly the little C grade ecchi isekai engine that could.

 

It an anime guy, but watched Howl's Moving Castle yesterday on a whim with my 6 year old. She loved it. We might be watching Spirited Away or some shit next.

Yeah I just watched ep 2 today and I like it too. Particularly the second ep showing the antagonists appearing more relaxed and casual with each other than a typical shonen enemy group. Kinda reminded me of the phantom troupe

 

got gifted some anime today for bday, so now I have bocchi, planetes, and call of the night to watch

i haven't seen that one but i'm pretty sure almost anything Miyazaki is a safe bet for that age
